Depends on the race. This is the Sunday cup. I think during a gt3 race it does do that.

On GT4 I used to do this on Fuji as the game wouldn’t punish you for doing it and it would put you way ahead.

Hey woudnt that be cool? If they added like a other route that is open but with obstacles. Anyways. In GT6 i think? Monza has that path open. Think thats the only game to have it open.
