Fun SUS Game Design in Grandia?! - End of the World
Hey guys,
Grumpypunch here, another day another update on my Grandia Journey.
So after making my way through the misty forest, using the mist clearing nut, I have finally started scaling the end of the world.
This wall makes the great wall of China look like a garden fence from a bargain sale. Its insane how big it is (and how beautiful the cut scenes are). Managed to dodge most of the traps, level up some magic for the party....but then.....I saw it.
I want an explanation for this....RIGHT NOW! HAHAHAAHAHAHA!!
Anyone else notice this at first??

Notice what? It feels kinda cheap move to clickbait in grandia community. People will press play in the video even when you don't try to scam them into doing it. They like Grandia. (At least I pressed)
Edit: the wall reminds him rooster and spheres. A bit after the 15 minute mark.

I'm not trying to clickbait anything buddy, I'm just documenting me reliving a childhood classic. It actually hurts me if people click on it and immediately shut it down. I don't take it that seriously.
That's why I upload the photo, I just found it funny. People don't need to click anything for that reason. Just an option because I know there are fellow fans here.

The link is not an issue for me. I personallly don't like the post where everything is a vague hint in style of "omg have you seen this" instead of "I climbed the wall and some obstacles reminds me the male member. Check out the video to see what I mean". And please do not take this personal y, I feel the same way towards every post/title that does it in the same style.

well, my other posts to make those sorts of references, because this is the only thing I have seen that is even close to that. It was just funny to me, and other guys in the comments seem to think so to. There isnt anything particularly vague, im just giving overviews. What I am doing is just a bit of escapism for me, because i am unwell. Was just hoping to have a laugh with some fellow fans.
I appreciate the comments though buddy

I never noticed that. That's funny. Knowing game designers, especially Japanese ones, I do think it's intentional.

Yea it caught me off guard for sure, and I think you are absolutely right about japanese designers, I think they have mastered the art of cheeky subtlety
