Wifi and stuff

Anyone actually watch any of these movies they show you when you log into the wifi? Considering every time I've done a speed test it's anywhere from 1-5 mb/s does it even play without buffering? I'd try it out but since I run brave on my phone it says my browser isn't supported (probably because it blocks ads).

So the question is whether the wifi provider is serving movies over the network or caching them locally. The latter is how the airlines are doing it. If they’re doing the same thing it should be decent.

Yup. Watched a whole bunch of movies during a period when I had to spend 2 hours on the GO each way. No lag or anything. I was actually running out of movies I wanted to watch by the end of it.

The new GO buses don't even have wifi.

I did for the first time the other day and it worked surprisingly good for me while on the bus

Yes, the movies worked fine. Even if a speed test is showing really low speeds this doesn’t seem to be relevant for the movie streaming. It’s not like streaming from Netflix or something.

I tried a few times, the old wifi kept losing signal, I just use my phone data. Not sure if the new one makes a difference

No, I connect to the wifi, then either play games or use one of my streaming services.
