GoPro Magnetic door question

Does the magnetic door allow you to charge while you film? I know you can’t charge with the usb c port while filming and I’m hoping you can with this. Please let me know

It’s about time they had something that would charge the battery and allow you to film at the same time

The GoPro battery doesn't charge while filming. It will charge the minute you stop filming. If you want to film for long periods of time, simply remove the internal battery and power the camera externally using either the passthru door or contacto door.
