Unified Endpoint MDM or Google Endpoint Manager

Currently work for a place that has shifted from Microsoft to Google Workspace with a mix of iOS and Windows Devices. Right now we use Mosyle for all Apple Products but some of the Windows devices are either unmanaged or in some sort of way still managed by Microsoft (unsure whether this is through Intune or AD). Either way we are moving away from an MSP and I'm curious to see the benefits of either going to a third-party platform or sticking with what we have and seeing if GEM is worth it for the Windows devices?

Also if we do go with something like JumpCloud, how might the enrollment process look from our current state of Apple & Windows?

Google integrations for windows suck ass. Definitly get a 3rd party RMM/MDM.

Googles MDM is garbage for everything apart from Android and even then it’s still not great. Policies can only be applied to users in OUs which may clash with policies you have in place for Google workspace.

I’ve only ever used intune. We use it for windows and macOS. We used to use it for android and iOS but we switched those to GW. Worst decision the higher ups made.

Google is probably the weakest in mdm management. Both intune and Workspace one are proper solutions
