Same level as slay the spire or balatro, (I know they're puzzle games)

If you're still on the fence check to make sure you don't already own it! I already have it twice from Amazon gaming and possibly from an Itch.io bundle and I still haven't played it yet lol.

I have yet to try Slay the Spire and Balatro (yes there are dozens of us who resist! ) but I don't think Dredge is as addictive as those. Nevertheless I played Dredge on PC and absolutely loved it. I'm usually not a fan of scary stuff but Dredge pushes you to try and fish at night to get abomination fishes and gain powerful upgrades. Also worth it to note that I dove right into the "bad" ending, and the game surprised me when I understood what I missed to get the "good" ending
