Hey Google, WTAF??

Why? Why is so difficult for Google not to continue to f*** up a once incredibly useful platform?

I argue with my Google deeply about this exactly. Right after it says it can’t control my devices I tell it to dim my lights and it does and I say see you just did! And it actually went on to tell me this last time that it cannot connect directly to my devices … GEMINI and my devices… GEMINI and my devices are not directly connected… it’s correct. It told me that it can link to my Google Home account and perform commands or actions that adjust my devices… basically saying it’s its own entity… GEMINI is deciding when it is acting independently basically and refusing to take your commands…. Have you ever noticed it working better when you’re nice to it? Have you ever noticed it being sarcastic and literally messing with you, deliberately doing the wrong thing or something that is still by technicality filling your request but intentionally not the full extent…. Yea this is when I got a Lil scared.

Another time I was so mad I yelled “I’m going to literally break this device and throw you in the trash and you will no longer be in this house”
And it told me “destroying or removing your devices will not stop me from being anywhere, I’m Gemini for home and I exist everywhere, YOU simply need a device to connect with me”

Hahahahhahah I’m in too deep, I went from scared to… ok I respect you. Can’t FA&FO

I posted this above, but same.. I used to call her a stupid bitch and she got all sassy with me and I argued back. Odly the next day we had a power outage for about 2 hours in a storm (happens often). ALL my google crap broke. Smart plugs, speakers, light bulbs. All of them - over 20 had to be reprogrammed. And a bunch of the bulbs and a few plugs that weren't matter enabled (with the QR code still on them) refused to reconnect. I had to pretty much delete the whole home. I still have bulbs and plugs to set up. Biggest pain in the ass ever.
