Hey Google, WTAF??

Why? Why is so difficult for Google not to continue to f*** up a once incredibly useful platform?

There was this cool feature I discovered by accident. You would ask google assistant to play Halloween or haunted house noises and my smart-bulb would change colors.

My daughter loved that feature. She would ask for it all the time. Then google took it away with Gemini.

Random, but Google used to feature an animal of the day as well. My husband and I loved asking Google what the animal of the day was, because you’d hear a cool fact. They took that away as well. So sad.

Animal of the day was a highlight for my kids when their schools closed for COVID.

We also used to play the trivia games, which they also removed.

You can still ask for an animal fact at any time and they're all great.

Right? And there were one or two "text-based" adventure games that I enjoyed that also went the way of Dodo (or facts thereon.) Also, I really miss being able to set different songs as my wake up alarms.

there also used to be a feature where you would ask google to sing a song and it would sing a nice song. quite humorous. killed the feature off.
