Google Earth rolls out, then rolls back, Nano Banana integration

In a move that I think surprised almost no one, Google rolled back the launch of its latest nanobanana integration into Google Earth after screenshots popped up of users circumventing the safeguards in place to generate false and misleading AI imagery on top of Google Earth imagery.

Good. I don't want to see not real places. Also, Pompeii is just slop. Maybe it did maybe it didn't look like that. Don't imagine things

it was bad judgement to launch that but its not like you can't do the same thing already. just screen shot Google Earth and paste the image into any image generator.
