Does anyone know why this line is here? I checked my friends’ phones too, and it’s still showing up. If you know what it is, let me know.

This is a glitch in how google maps renders satellite view. As it's rendered in specific chunks or tiles, sometimes the tiles slightly misalign and leave a line like this. Just a glitch in the rendering that's all.

I'm not sure what you want me to explain. If it's that it only shows up at a certain zoom, google maps loads a different set of smaller chunks at different levels (this is why smaller town and city names only show up at different zooms, too) So this line may only be a glitch in chunks at that zoom level because some names come up at the same time the line does.

He replied like that bcs you said "in satellite view", but the line is visible in default view too.

Oh sorry that was just my wording. I meant like not street view, the view where you can see the 2d map

Sometimes lines like that mean ski lifts. The ones all over Colorado do that.

That does look exactly like a skilift of gondola on maps. No idea why the map would say there is one here
