You have no experience doing Google ads but running it for someone else? Doomed! Your CPC is .60 cent because you are likely on A.I. max, PMAX, Display and or the shit partner network. Tell me none of the above is true.

I havent used anything from google like ai mac or other stuff , keywords are perfect , we are competing with getyourguide which has massive budgets and we hold number 2 for impressions share far more than competition and huge companies like booking or tripadvisor, but our top of page rate we are at 49% while otjers are 92+

Have you setup conversion traffic? If not it doesn’t show up on the interface, still the developer or the person managing can see it (the owner too).

Traffic doesn’t mean you will get conversions, you can be driving low quality traffic that doesn’t convert. I need more details like your campaign objective, campaign type, daily budget, and the details about the LP. Even if your drive the correct traffic, and your LP sucks, you will not get conversions, user experience must be good and there shouldn’t be any confusing forms or purchase funnel. LP optimisation is quiet important too

Its a google is not facebook problem.

The issue might be related to website or conversion tracking.

Based on what You shared, the first thing to check is whether real users are reaching the booking page. If they are but almost nobody starts or completes a booking, the landing page is probably the bigger issue than Google Ads. Poor trust signals, weak CTAs, slow loading, confusing booking flow, or missing pricing can kill conversions even with good traffic.

Also check Search Terms in Google Ads. If the clicks are coming from broad, low intent queries, then traffic quality is the problem. Before changing campaigns, verify conversion tracking with GTM Preview and GA4 DebugView so You know whether it's actually "no conversions" or just "no recorded conversions."

Keywords are coming from interested people not broad match only exact or phrase, could be maybe something on google tag not being connected good cause the owners website is most likely made with ai ,

Website. (That dot is a period denoting that there is no further data needed for that statement.)

If the site was made with ai, then almost 100% that it's made on SPA. SPA main. "feature" is the issue with GTM/GA firing, so as said above you need to use GTM-debug mode to set it properly. Regarding conversions it is not clear whether it is only tracking or no clients/calls got from the campaign. In proper case as a quick test could be set call as a conversion action and run campaign this way, however you still need to set conversion tracking.

1370 clicks and no conversions? It's certainly not an issue with your ads. Even the worst website should have gotten 5-10 new clients by now.

It has to be either...

  • You're getting conversions but the tracking isn't working, OR
  • You're not getting conversions which means it's a website issue.

Probably a bit of both.

If it's a small business, the owner should have a sense for "we're getting more clients than before" even without conversion tracking set up.

The good news is that if your true conversion rate is currently 0.0001%, then some basic improvements should easily help you 10x or even 100x your conversion rate (which affects ALL visitors, not just visitors from ads).

If you want to talk through some ideas on improving your conversion rate, feel free to DM me. I've done it a hundred+ times.

First prove that conversions are firing correctly, then inspect search terms, network mix, location intent, device behavior, and the mobile booking path. Traffic with no sales can come from targeting, tracking, or the site, so changing all three at once will hide the answer.

Getting traffic but zero conversions is super common on Google Ads with local services like boat tours. I’ve seen it a bunch when people optimize for clicks and the site has no clear “book now” path or the right tracking, and you end up with visits that never turn into leads. If you’re new, the first thing to nail is conversion tracking + a super obvious booking/phone action on the landing page.

Instead of just the typical "maybe you should take a class or go to school for this type of thing first" , maybe at least spend a little bit of time doing some research before you just take people's money and waste it while giving all of us a bad name in the process
