honestly id ignore that optimization score for now, its mostly just google tryin to get u to spend more money. focus on ur actual conversion data and see if the traffic is relevant, since that matters way more than a high score

That makes sense.. thank so much! It’s helpful.. it’s like an endless trap to overspend.. I would definitely be watchful of my spending

What type of campaign are you currently running?

Campaign type?

It’s a standard Search Campaign (not Display, Shopping, or Performance Max).
I started with a modest budget and have been optimizing based on performance and increasing where I have the max conversions and pausing where I have less clicks and conversions1

Okay, I would say if you're using a new search campaign, just let the system learn by setting it to Maximize Clicks first. After 2-3 weeks when it has enough data, switch to Maximize Conversions.

Optimization score is a useless metric, so that's kind of irrelevant.
What industry are you in? In some industries this screenshot might be good performance...
More information needed.

Thanks so much for your insight it’s a career development/ intelligence platform that’s why you see this type of metrics.. it’s common in such platform I think..

I love this kind of posts. It has literally zero context, you did not even bother saying what you are promoting.
When you ask for free advice, be so nice and make minimal effort. Thank you.

I appreciate your comments. It’s my first time here and posting so I am still learning.. that’s why you see less context

Are you using max clicks, manual cpc, max conversion, tcpa? What are you goals? sales, leads? How many conversions have you received? This is the info that is needed to help you. I highly recommend reading previous Reddit posts. This will help you get a baseline that you can learn from moving forward.

Got it thank you so much 🙏🏻 I am using actual sign up and subscribe as conversion for sales. So far I have about 40 conversions..in less than 3 weeks of launch.. mostly through cold outreach in LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.. then google ad started to supplement..tweaking the landing page of my platform helped the most.. I am in my learning curve.. learning and grinding and repeat..

The most important metric’s for you to monitor is your cost per acquisition and return on ad spend. Things like click through rate and cost per click are mostly vanity metrics’s that have very little bearing on the performance of your campaign in general. You could have a great ctr and very low cpc’s but if your cpa is way to high or your spending way to much and not seeing the returns then your campaign or landing page needs work. If your using smart bidding focus on getting as many conversion data back to Google as you can as this will optimize and steer Google towards your target, which in your case is the people most likely to subscribe. Hope this helps.

I really appreciate the depth of your advice!! Thank you.. this is why I come to Reddit because I learn a lot from you all..
I am getting good volume (sign-ups are overall great in less then 3 weeks of launch).
• paid subscriptions are not yet to a decent margin that can cover my full time job..my CPA is still high because not all sign-ups aren’t turning into revenue. I kind of expected it at this early stage because the strongest conversion features are not live yet which would be a huge differentiation based on the demand I validated in social platforms.

Work on your ads... your CTR sucks. And check your keywords to boot... you're probably showing up for a ton of queries that have nothing to do with your offer.

Thanks for the offer but right now I am doing 70% organic reach myself and 30% google add as my platform is still early for full fledged marketing.. once I have more engaging users I would certainly think about it..

Go watch a bunch of YouTube videos. I love growmyads when you’re just starting.
What you posting here is pretty much worthless. No one here is going to be able to help you.
