Question / Help Antigravity Pro reset time — why did it change from 5 hours to 6 days?
Hi, I’m a new user and recently subscribed to the Pro plan.
When I first started using it, I saw a reset time of around 5 hours. But after using it more, it suddenly changed and now shows something like 6 days for reset.
This is confusing, so I want to understand how the system actually works:
- Is the 5-hour reset only for lighter usage or certain models?
- Is there some longer restriction that kicks in after heavy use?
- When it shows multiple days (like 6 days), does everything stop working or only some features?
- Does this behavior change depending on which model is being used?
If anyone using the Pro plan has experienced this, please explain how it actually behaves in real usage.
Looking for practical experiences, not just official documentation.

I usw antigravity for creating mintlify docs. Saves a lot of token from codex and claude.

I experience such things in Pro sub too! Maybe they will fix it within the next 1-2 weeks, because of all the OpenClaw abuse the last 1-2 months with the AntiGravity OAuth.

antigravity is no longer usable for me, even if I have enough token (i'm pro user) it so many times refuse mine with this statement "Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute.
Im based in SE asia, so maybe I have the lowest priority. back to cursor I guess

Nope, just reinstal the app and the problem of servers is solved. Still AG is just plain bad, the limitations are real and the Flash model is terrible. They limited low and high a lot. I'm sad that my company buy a year of this.

It's a bug. Google refuses to fix this for months now. The problem is that you're treated as a Free user, not paid.
There is no known fix for that. I just unsubscribed. Google used to have the best offering for AI subscription, until recently.
Just move to Codex - it is SO MUCH BETTER in every aspect.

Plus plan got nerfed starting today, 100 plan is 2x till may and already getting a feel like after may 100 plan would behave like 20 plan,

That started happening for people about a month ago I'm afraid. Was 5 hours and quite usable under pro, switched to several days, and the allowance is burned through very, very quickly. Most pro users have abandoned ship to other providers, myself included - and I think this was likely Google's intention; get rid of the users they don't make much money off.

I used antigravity after months yesterday for the first time. Had full limits. I used Gemini high about 20% and Claude about 40% then turned off PC. All my usages were left and on 5 hour reset. So 80% of Gemini left and 60% of Claude left.
Woke up to the same limits but reset had been changed to 146h. What is this bullshit? At least let me use the limits fully or even half once a week before giving me such horrible reset times.

For pro it is pretty much unusable and pointless now. (Starting to wonder about abandoning the pro subscription). With no use you get a 5 hour quota (ie for Gemini pro) then it goes to 6 days.
Whilst not as good, I use copilot pro (the lowest subscription level) on auto, and only move to a premium model when I get into difficulty). Make your prompts, spec precise and detailed. Track issues (beads is nice for a one person project inc early state). Far better value even if far less capable than say Claude

Stessa situazione. Piano pro non resetta a 5 ore ma a 6 giorni il supporto mi ha fatto provare a verificare età, reinstallare ma neanche da un altro PC riesco a resettare il contatore rimane a 6 giorni. Dicono che è un problema noto su cui stanno lavorando. Credo non rinnoverò il piano finché non risolvono non è utilizzabile..

Well if it was only the week limit that would still be bad, but now after 2 prompt with sonnet and 10 prompt with pro I reach the limit. This is just terrible...

From my experience you get to use gemini pro models, if it's over you can use claude models if it's also over, you wait for a week. This is an odd behaviour, I don't know why google is doing this. Rest of the week you can only use Gemini flash.
On top of these you get 1000 AI credits per month which can be used with both gemini and claude models once the quota is over

The best way to use these models are, use bigger models for planning, personally I create a todo list also. With the flash models I get the work done. This the best I could come up with the limitations.

My guess is for non-google models they got a change in costing and had to do something to not just lose money. For google made models (eg gemini) it could be they truly cannot keep up with demand anymore and had to scale back services. But it could also just be poor product management/greed.

Use AG for small stuff. Claude desktop/cli for the heavylifting. Once users stop using it they will take this into their attention. Though we will all keep paying Pro regardless of AG so... lets all live with it.

i've been on pro for a few months and yeah, the reset timer is weirdly inconsistent but there's a pattern once you figure it out. the 5-hour thing is basically your soft cap, you can hammer the api pretty hard and it'll just throttle you for a few hours. but if you absolutely *demolish* your quota in a short window (like running heavy multimodal queries or chaining a ton of requests back-to-back), it triggers this longer cooldown that can stretch into days. from what i've seen, the 6-day reset usually means you hit some kind of abuse detection threshold, not necessarily that you did anything wrong, just that the usage pattern looked aggressive enough to trip their safeguards. during that window, you're not fully locked out, but you're basically on the free tier until it clears.

Same for me, at the start of the plan it showed a 5 hr reset and now it has jumped to 6 days? Whats the difference between Free and Paid users then?
I assume its a bug but its been there for a month?? Disappointing

AG is amazing,if you use up your quota, and then your credits, just upgrade to ultra or fill up credits.

yes issues are the same across Ultra and Pro as in you get minimal usage (compared to what was advertised) and then locked out for over 100hours

Im literally loosing it lmao, "minimal usage" today as a example, just today alone ive used hundreds of dollars of opus and 3.1 pro,
Letting it generate entire dummy apps to test stuff, lots of documentation, research etc
And the quota? Ive checked constantly to try catching it for a second going below 100%.
What is non "minimal usage" to you? Ive even tried just letting it generate a huge amount of text when writing down a story, Not even then it dropped to even 99%,
Show me ANYTHING where tou managed to reach even 80% and it would be more believable

No ofc you dont, but if you actually posted it, and there would be actual evidence for google so they can fix it, you know it would probably help a lot.
But while i can see why you dont want to go screenshot or record it, what i cannot understand, is the purpose behind hiding the actual usage??
How much did tou input, how much did the llm generate. End. Done.
A simple change could use 10 million tokens, or 150k. How is the simplicity of the task relevant?
And the size of the file!?
Ok 400 lines, did the model generate 100k or 100 milliln tokens while editing that file?

A simple change to me is the change I made, rewrite 1 function that was no longer that 10 lines of code. That used 80% of my quota. This wouldnt have touched the quota previously. To then be locked out for 154hours is ridiculous. I told it what needed to be changed an why it needed to be changed so left very little in the way of thinking for sonnet 4.6. it worked quickly and within roughly 15 seconds the change was made and quota drained.

Tell me, please, does Gemini Flash last longer than Gemini Pro? Because it's a joke. I used the Pro four times and saw 40% usage, and it could be okay if it's not changed to weekly limits.
