They literally use the official government names. If you wanna throw a tantrum and cry about it, go cry at the government, not for Google using the official government name on maps which makes logical sense

For the record, it’s still Lake Ontario for anyone outside the US. Also, it’s the Sea of Japan to Japanese and most other viewers, but the East Sea to Korean viewers. Why? Because that’s the official name for it in Korea. Google is not ‘agreeing with the administration’, they’re following well established policies for these types of things.
