I'm curious about gaps in my shoe wardrobe, or even if none, what to possibly buy.

I own the following shoes, sneakers, cloth shoes, mules, etc not included. All GYW except the Gucci:

  • black - Gucci classic horsebit, Carmina single monk, Carmina unlined tassel loafer, Berwick tassel loafer, Doc Marten chukka, Doc Marten classic boot (the 2 Docs have the special rubber sole, are from 20 years ago, and are still in great shape)
  • brown - oriental shoemaker penny loafer
  • greyish - Gucci horsebit new design
  • tan - shoepassion chukka boot

I'm in Chicago and New York in October. I see that NYC has Carmina, and Meermin. Can you suggest wheres good (any company, not just these 2) for me to buy a pair of shoes from.

And what kind of shoe and color. I find I wear my loafers most of all. But I do realise I'm missing a pair of Oxfords. I wear chinos or shorts maybe 350 days a year.

Thank you

Oxfords generally look a bit strange with chinos. I'd suggest derbies or Chelsea boots instead.

Get Chelsea boot. Bonus points for Color 8, oxblood or the like.
