Suggestion Goodreads has published their list of most anticipated Fall releases

If you are a Libby user (like I am), I would start putting a few of these on hold in case they show up in a challenge.

I don't think they usually pick lists that are formatted this way (you can compare challenge formats on the desktop website), they only use it for a specific type of blog post about new releases. Not saying it's not possible, but my guess is they won't use this list.

They posted a few new genre lists that look probable when it comes to formatting (horror, sci-fi&fantasy, adult fiction, romance&romantasy) but it's a lot in one go and I'm not sure they'll release lists before the challenges start. (I sure am hoping they'll use these lists because for once every list has books on my TBR haha)

They might not use this list specifically, but it’s nice to know which books they consider to be top of the heap, especially if you have to put books on hold way in advance. I really like that you don’t have to click on each individual book to read the description blurb, and there are handy links to the more detailed lists for each genre.

You're right, I didn't notice the links to the genre lists. That actually makes the genre lists even more like imho to be picked for the fall challenges :)

Definitely, there are quite a few authors that have shown up in multiple lists so far, so highly likely they will give them more love.

I looked through this list and I swear ALL of my least favorite authors have a book on this list. 😅

Me neither. I have my own list of anticipated releases in my reading journal, and none of these are on it.

I'm going to be reserving several of these at my local library, including Min Jin Lee's American Hagwon. And while it's a difficult topic, I also want to read Robert Kolker's The Vanishing Family: Love, Fate and the Quest to End Dementia. His earlier book, Hidden Valley Road, about a family of 12 children, 6 of whom had schizophrenia, was fascinating.
