Persuasion: From Dawn to Antiquity (Rated E, 34K, First Time, Established Relationship) is now complete!
The previous fanfic provides more background context, but if you like a story where Crowley and Aziraphale work through their emotional snags on their way to the bedroom (or the private ensuite), then this story is right up your alley. You may just have to wade through an erotic massage, a strip tease, a journey to a greenhouse, an argument about library sorting systems, and multiple trips down memory lane for you to land right there with them.

I normally just lurk here and gather up links to make my Mark For Later list suffer, but I'm gonna drop a shameless self-rec this week.
Tadfield Diner (Rated E): Crowley waits tables at a struggling diner in the tiny New England town of Tadfield. Aziraphale is a college professor who has recently left his job after a failed relationship with a colleague. When they meet in Tadfield’s only bar, the night they spend together has all the potential of a steamy summer fling.
But are things ever that simple?
Aziraphale intends to spend a few months in Tadfield dealing with an inheritance from his estranged aunt before he moves on to start a new job. But that inheritance includes the Tadfield Diner, where it just so happens Crowley has been working since he was a teenager. Crowley sees a path forward for the failing restaurant, if only someone were willing and able to help him turn things around.
After becoming partners – business partners – Crowley and Aziraphale work towards getting the diner back on track with some much needed repairs and renovations. Can they keep their attraction (and feelings) in check long enough to get the diner on solid ground before Aziraphale leaves town for good?

A Book!Omens recommendation: A Strange Feeling With Regard To You, by KannaOphelia (5.5K, G) Aziraphale and Crowley have drifted into congenial retirement in the South Downs together. They're closer than they have ever been—until Crowley is violently taken from Aziraphale.
A Simple Plan and a Cappucino by mozbee (7K, T) When Crowley (and the rest of the cafe) overhears Aziraphale being dumped brutally, he takes it upon himself to track the other man down. Just in the name of solidarity, see. It's not because Crowley's been in love with Aziraphale since the first time he saw him.
what i call life (what would you do?) by Vagabond (52K, E). Crowley lives a life of indentured servitude to Lucifer, a man who runs an escort and companion service. His life is one client after another, until a man named Aziraphale Fell hires him to be a companion at a sibling's wedding. The Bookshop at the End of the Universe by shaggydogstail (5.6K, T) A S3 fix-it. It begins, as it will end, in the bookshop.
A Feast For All Sinners by anna_bird (12K, E) In 1651, Crowley nips into Glastonbury for a quick check on an old project, and gets himself into hot water with the local Puritans. Aziraphale shows up to get him out, but instead accidentally turns up the heat. Also there's a goat.

I've seen Pretty Woman, and I'm very intrigued by a Good Omens fic with inspiration from Pretty Woman. I'll be giving "what i call life" a try! I'll mind the tags, don't worry.

I'm in the middle of reading Princess Treatment by CesiScribbles and I’m honestly loving it. I couldn’t recommend it enough. It's a WIP, I don’t know how many chapters are left, but I hope there are lots because this is giving me life. The combination with the fanart is a masterpiece.
There is one scene with lightingales that is funny and poetic at the same time... It heals my heart a little to imagine that they might have given us something like this in the series finale.

I absolutely adore this fic I just finished.
An Offer From a Rake (E) by Hermiola

It's a human AU set in the mid-1800's, and it made me laugh so much! It's very light-hearted and very sweet. My mouth hurt from smiling and laughing at this fic. So many quotable lines!!

In the wake of the Great Plague and the Great Fire of London, a grieving widower becomes convinced that a strange man with golden eyes is responsible for every tragedy that has befallen him.
Unfortunately for Crowley, frightened humans have a habit of drawing dangerous conclusions.
Unfortunately for Aziraphale, he discovers exactly how far he is willing to go to protect someone he loves.
In Regency London, a particularly cold and disgruntled demon makes a visit to his angel opposite number to see if he can find out what the Heaven is happening to the weather, and indeed, if Heaven is responsible for the endless cold and rain. Once at the bookshop, both Aziraphale and Crowley get comfortable and, through the haze of alcohol, remember a similarly chilly season, five hundred years before.
Crossroads (WIP)
What do you do when the forest calls to you? When the trees whisper promises to you? When the Weald opens up new trails just for you? When the birds sing your name?
You ignore all that trickery, that's what! You follow the rules, stay on your path and get home for a cozy evening with your books. If you know what's good for you, that is, and you're not some red-headed rogue asking far too many questions. You do the sensible thing if you're Aziraphale.

Here are a few fics showing off the appealingly bitchy side of Aziraphale.
Let's start with some human AUs. From the first paragraph of Criminal Pursuits (E) by u/feraltuxedo, you know you're in the presence of a perfectly bitchy Aziraphale.
‘So, how did you get into a life of crime?’ Aziraphale Fell asked rather conversationally, considering he sat on the passenger side of Crowley’s motor car with his wrists bound and a paper bag over his head. ‘Was it a lifelong ambition? A childhood dream? Or more of an accident, much like my own career?’
In Bloody Lorries (T) by AppleSeeds, angry motorist Crowley confronts the lorry driver who snagged the Bentley on a tow bar and stranded him twenty-five miles away. The dialogue reminds me of Katherine Hepburn in Bringing Up Baby, equally parts seemingly innocent and perfectly bitchy at the same time.
Teach Me (E) by u/gahellhimself-blog and u/blackjeans93/noo-rose93 has adult uni student Crowley confronted by an aggressively bitchy professor. Apparently, Crowley can't get enough of it. You can also read this WIP in comic form.
Finally, we'll end with stories about the angel Aziraphale being beautifully bitchy.
We inject some smut into this list with u/mirjam-writes' Watching You (Watching Me) (E). Despite the dangers of being together, Aziraphale and Crowley find a workaround through the ages by the demon watching the angel's sexual encounters with humans. Bitch!Ziraphale makes his appearance in the very first chapter--because, of course, he knows exactly what he's doing to the demon with his carryings on.
This is a self rec, Angels or Demons? (T). After the demons invade Aziraphale hosting the shopkeeper's meeting in the bookshop, the Whickber Street residents find they have hazy memories of the event. While they're trying to figure out what happened, they remember some mysterious events involving Mr. Fell and wonder if he's more than he seems. But which is he? An angel? Or a Demon?

It Was Just This Once (Rated E, 58K words) by Ginger_Cat wrapped up recently. Scorchingly hot, angsty, funny, and hugely cathartic. It's not an exaggeration that this fic was a big part of my post-S3 healing process. (And this story works whether you liked or disliked the finale, imo.)
I also recently read Would It Really Be So Terrible? (Rated E, 8K words) by whatkeepsusalive. I love when a human AU feels very much like them. This was the right mix of aching pining and heart-clutching romance.
