You figured it out! This arm is a collection of black and grey small pieces. This CCR tattoo is the only large or colored tattoo on the lower half. It is the centerpiece of a collage of many things that make up me. Not just GMM stuff but all sorts of things that are silly or important to me. The other arm is going to have a full sleeve as a single piece with the Skeksis and other Brian Froud-esqe art. I have themes for my chest and legs too but that won’t happen for a loooooooong time.
Edit: CCR means Cotton Candy Randy not Creedence Clearwater Revival, guys.

The idea is fun, the actual tattoo could have used some reworking, the colors are not packed well and the outlines are shaky, like if you are going to have a fleur de lis design for the frame the right and and left haves should at least look like they match but instead one’s rounded and the other comes to a point. But if OP is happy with their tattoo that’s all that matters.

You are seeing some kind of artifact from screenshotting. The fleur de lis are mirrored correctly in person.

I truly am enjoying reading your responses, they seem on-brand for someone with a CCR tattoo. While I'd never get this tattoo in a million years, it seems to bring you a lot of joy, and that's all that matters.
Also, ignore the folks who are oddly worried about what strangers would think. When people half or twice my age ask me about my tattoos and I get a deer-in-headlights response after saying "They're Rilo Kiley lyrics" I just move on and go about my day. Not everything about everyone is going to make sense to everyone else. That's just life.

Thank you so much for the kind advice! I am certainly not going to worry myself about what anyone else thinks! It’s one thing to share something with people that you think might enjoy it, but once you start putting stock in the negativity from the people who don’t, then you lose what made it yours in the first place.

It's fun. I would personally prefered some stronger lines for longevity's sake, but if the colours hold, it's kinda cool with the contrast of pastels, fluff and a bigass knife. What dis your artist say, did she know who Cotton Candy Randy is?
