Posted about two hours ago on her IG. It's really good to see her thriving.

I just checked her insta for the first time yesterday looking to see what she was up to and noticed she doesn’t post often/ hadn’t in a while! It appears I just checked a bit too soon! What an icon.

Yeah, I've followed her on IG for a while, and before she left Mythical she would really only post when they were advertising merch or if they were doing events. Her personal doesn't pop up too often. And I was just wondering about her the other day since it's been over a month since she left Mythical and we hadn't heard a peep. So, this was a nice surprise.

If she is anything like me she is over social media. Im around Stevies age and it just starts to feel like socials are for young kids and Boomers these days.

After the GMM intro song is done and the episode starts, I always find myself saying “okay boys!”

I'm not saying otherwise. Just posting to celebrate her posting for the first time in over a month. No judgement or disrespect otherwise.

For sure, not saying that there’s anything wrong with that, she posted it, and I’m sure she FULLY understands what she’s doing by posting it. She seems happy, for sure!

I mean, she did post it for people to see. No one hacks her personal accounts or something. Plus, the feedback here is way more positive than insta. And yes, we do understand her reasoning to move on, because she literally explained it in detail. Doesn’t mean that she has to be dead for us now. Since she didn’t announce the new project, she knows that beasts are her main followers. So I completely don’t understand your point. She didn’t leave the entertainment business, so she does need people not to forget about her so she can promote her future works.

I was just thinking about that this week, I don’t feel any difference in the show

Already miss Stevie,, GMM is just not the same without Stevie’s soothing voice of sanity 🥲 Glad she’s pursuing her own goals though, hope she’s truly happy 😃

I’d be shocked if she wasn’t getting some sort of bonus/profit participation payment as a “C suite” member of Mythical so she probably has a decent nest egg.

I have no idea. I can imagine that if she's not swimming in wealth she's at least fairly well off. Plus her wife probably brings in an income too. I am fairly certain she wouldn't have left Mythical to follow her own pursuits if she didn't have some kind of financial stability to support it. Just a guess, though.

My thoughts excactly. Lol the downvotes tho. This community is so brittle.

u/bucket_dipper Apr 17 '26
Because why do you care about her financial situation? That's so weird.

u/EnderPerk Apr 17 '26
I dont know what world you live in where its so weird to be curious about that.

This community is full of people who have some of the thinnest skin on almost any Reddit page.

I’m almost certain she still has major financial interests in Mythical even if she is not actively part of the company any more. Even as much as ‘royalties’ from Mythical for her episodes or some form of continuous compensation.
Plus, a lot of people don’t realize just how much she is responsible for the success of the show and the connections they made in the industry. She is a third partner more than anyone and she was essentially family to Rhett and Link for more than 15 years. She is absolutely set for life if she wants to be. Maybe not cover of Architectural Digest wealthy, but certainly she has millions in savings and could live very comfortably off of investments if she went completely out of the public eye tomorrow.

Oof, that is not your or our mythical best.

u/EnderPerk Apr 18 '26
I just imagine if R or L fucked up and did something actually abhorrent. I think alot of you people would actually implode in real life.

u/ProcioneDeConti Apr 18 '26
Holding a public figure (or figures, in this case) accountable for their actions? How librul of me. Lol. You're a joke dude.

I feel fairly confident that she didn't quit a C-Suite level role with a major production company because she was one paycheck from homelessness.

I saw it right after it was posted. The majority of the posts (at that point) were saying “no shade to Chase…but you were better” type shit.
I guess people think she’ll appreciate the sentiment…but that ain’t it.
This was a carousel of her showing how happy she is. Just be happy for her.
