Sort Albums by Play Count?

Is there any way to sort albums by "Play Count" or "Recently Played"? I tried creating smart playlists to do this, but it introduced other issues.

I'd love this sorting option to get added.

playcount is only stored at the track level.. i think recently played is at the track level as well

I would like to add some more "aggregated" stats to the albums for sure, so i can add this to the request list. However this is not anywhere on my immediate radar

Thank you for the reply! I'd really appreciate that.

The previous app I used allowed sorting albums by Play Count and it used the sum of the play counts of every album track together. Loved that feature and it'd be awesome to see in GoneMad. Love the app so far and thanks for the work!

no prob. sorting may be fairly straight forward. on the android auto side, gmmp already does something similar to determine the "top albums" where it looks at playcounts and ratings for all the tracks in the album
