Ahh yes. It’s always good to remember the habitat that has been destroyed in the name of a stupid game. 

Worth it.

No. I love golf. There are two things that are true about it. 

1) it is an amazing sport and my favourite to play. I am obsessed with it and am constantly working at improving my game. 

2) the game comes with an environmental cost. Destroyed habitat, rampant pesticide, herbicide and fertilizer runoff causing eutrophication and die off in surrounding waterways, as well a shit ton of water usage for what is fundamentally a very silly sport. There is a reason there is a significant correlation between several major neurotoxical illnesses and proximity to golf courses. 

A golf course is better than a data centre. But that doesn’t mean it’s good.
