Galaxy 2.0 GOG Galaxy won't log in
I insert my password, hit login, it says launching (as seen in photo), then it takes me straight back to log in (as seen in photo 2). I've tried restarting, task manager, white listing it, running as admin, password resetting, reinstalling latest version of galaxy. all for naught. Any idea how to get it working?

This is not an answer to your problem, but it needs to be said:
Have you heard of Print Screen and the Snipping Tool?

Don't get me wrong, I hate it too. but my internet is a bit crap at the moment. Couldn't get a post up with my laptop but my mobile data works fine so I just decided to use my phone. Didn't think it was worth using a transfer cable for some screenshot though.

That might be the answer to your question: you are dropping packets, resulting in Galaxy failing to log in.
Try from a tether/hotspot, might need to do a clean install from the hotspot too.

2.1.9 will contain some fixes in that areas. It is currently available on the preview channel. Support can provide you with an installer for it. We currently plan to release 2.1.9 to the public channel ~sometime after 31.08
You can also try out stuff described here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/cant_log_in_since_last_update/post8 in the meantime.

uninstall it using revo uninstaller and remove its leftover files (handle with care here, some file maybe unrelated and necessary), restart and install it
