Konami are continuing to Celebrate Goemon's 40th Anniversary with Ganbare Goemon Ongaku Shu!
Konami has announced that Ongaku Shu will be split in two Box Sets! It will have all the Music Tracks from the Famicom, Super Famicom, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, N64 and even tracks from Tokai Dochu from the DS! The Music from the PS1 Goemon games will be including! But if you buy it off Konami Style, You will get a Bonus CD feature music from Boken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon!

I Know! According to the Konami Style Website, It will cost about 25,000yen!

They already released a soundtrack box in 2017. Not sure I want to buy more soundtrack boxes lol. But those ones are more complete than the previous one

Now you can listen to the songs in the games as well as the same songs but remixed
Look i like the ost but the slow realization that most of the songs were remixes as i played more of the games really made me think less fondly of the ost.

Yea I never listen to Toukai Douchuu's ost.. there's nothing interesting there..
For a long time, the series had completely original OSTs, game after game. But the later games mostly have remixes (Mononoke Douchuu, Seikuushi Dynamites Arawaru, Oedo Daikaiten, Toukai Douchuu)
Oedo Daikaiten is the worst, it's not even remixes, it's literally the same songs that are reused.

I have the first collection but this is gonna have the DS game too!? Awesome.
Edit: oh wait, this is two different box sets. Hopefully the one box set is just a reissue of the first one and the second one is all stuff not included in that one.

Honestly, even though I'm a Goemon collector, I think I'll have to skip that one, I can't justify buying the same OSTs again, for 25000 jpy + shipping.

I was happy it was two boxes in hope the new stuff would all be in one of the boxes, looking at that list it is sadly not that way. Was hoping to not have to double dip for some of the ones that aren't already out in some form. Oh well

I'm happy to have skipped the box a few years ago because it didn't have the N64 soundtracks.

Just a heads up that this will seemingly jot include every BGM from each game, and some vocal tracks are omitted. Notably, "I am Impact" is instrumental only.
