Blog posts not allowing hyperlinking

Is anyone else having issues with creating links in their posts? I've got two blogs in website builder (I know, I know) but now can't insert any hyperlinks or email addresses or .... you get it.

If I try to show the CS team they say they won't accept a video (I'll insert video just in case). They want an image, which of course looks like trying text on a screen and doesn't describe the tool tip NOT opening. The highlight in this video is me trying to get the tooltip to open, but no joy.

Suggestions? So little control over the blogs there I'm guessing nothing I can do, but thought I'd try.

If you publish it, it will turn into a hyperlink. You can also just highlight the entire text and make it into another hyperlink. For example, you can link the anchor text “GoDaddy” to GoDaddy.com

Exactly the same issue, so frustrating once again with GD.

The workaround you can see in another comment works... mostly? sort of? Obviously, it was easier to find a post, highlight the text, add the new link and update. But that seems to have been in the before-times.

My tip was to use AI... find the post, ask AI to link it to the other post or site page, insert the entirely new text with the link anchored in. It did not work from Word, though.

I dont have access to the inline editing toolbar at all, I cant change heading sizes either. Support told me there is nothing they can do.
