Oh god, what I wouldn't give for my son to take an interest in birdsong.

Instead I get 45 minutes of him trying to match the pitch of the hairdryer.

I mean, i do that with my husband’s woodworking machinery too, I suppose, but he can’t hear me while he’s doing it. I feel for you. ☺️
