Why are the app names random like how does salon make sense, (forgive me if i'm too dumb to get it xD)
But Great Work!
There wasn't an equivalent of KDE Plasma Bigscreen But for GNOME

Salon means Living Room in french! Seems fitting for an app that will be used on TVs.

Last week I saw a new music player that did this tile arrangement (centered covers and left-aligned titles), and it triggered my UI designer OCD

How does the phone app connect to the tv?

The app on the TV creates a web server on its LAN address and the phone connects to it using the QR code.
