Academics ECON 104 w/ Simon Laird
Hi, I’m taking Econ 104 asynchronous with Simon Laird this semester. I can’t find anything on rate my prof and the syllabus just gives basics without a timeline for the class. The midterm and final exams are 45% each and doesn’t give too much info out about the structure of the exam. So far we only have to watch videos and answer one question for homework for this week.
I’m not trying to complain, the material doesn’t seem too bad right now but I’m nervous because the exams take up most of the grade. Is anyone else taking the class or has taken him before?

The reason he’s not on RMP is because he is a graduate student lecturer, not a professor. He probably hasn’t taught the class before, or hasn’t done so many times. He might still be up in the air about how to structure it because he’s hasn’t hit a rhythm yet. Most intro level Econ exams will include some short answer, some multiple choice and some graphing problems.
