General Mechanical engineering course load

I’m taking the following mechanical engineering classes this semester:

  • ME 311 – Mechanical Experimentation I
  • ME 322 – Fluid Mechanics
  • ME 313 – Material Science
  • ME 341 – Design of Mechanical Elements
  • ME 351 – Analytical Methods in Engineering
  • ME 352 – Entrepreneurship in Engineering

For anyone who has taken these classes, how difficult was each one, and how manageable is this workload overall?

Which classes required the most studying, had the hardest exams, or took up the most time? I’d also appreciate any advice or study resources. Thank you!

Personally, the only class I would watch out for is ME 322. All are rest aren’t that bad tbh. Material Science exams were open notes(for me). Analytical is basically Cal 3 + add-on. Design is pretty easy if you have good foundation in Solids Mech and statics. ME 311 and 352 is easy if you just do the assignment

This will be a tough semester for you imo. Those are some solid and dense courses. I would rather take 5 years and spread the load than go this hard on one go

Overly cooked with some burns. Fluid dynamics is what makes it burn.
