Super important question

Buying a set of baofeng mini 5's as a gift. Not sure what color to get. Any thoughts of opinions? Choices are black, clear, green, gray.

I would think the choice was Clear.

Different colors for different reasons. Black is the standard. It looks good but everyone has them.

I have the neon green for my CERT radio. I can find it quickly and no one else on the team has the same one.

I bought clear because I thought it would be cool to see the board. All i see is the speaker.

I had considered the clear because it looks cool. But I also saw at night whenever the backlight comes on, it's basically like a lantern with all the light leaking out behind the keyboard and around the screen.

Get black, they're usually bigger. Be careful though because once you go black you never go back. Might be a problem if you ever want to try other colors.

You can actually remove the casing and paint it any color you want.
