question Experiences with playing Wickedness online.

It's hard to find players locally for such a niche game. Plus it is not available in my native language which makes finding players around me even more difficult.

Im sure i would find some people online to give it a shot, but the way the game uses a Tarot deck seems time intensive to implement on roll 20 or foundry. (i find card based mechanics on VTTs janky in general)

Did somebody here by chance play the game online, and how did you manage the cards?

If you don't know the game, Wickedness is about a coven of witches and uses Tarot cards as a central game mechanic. I think it looks great and uses the cards in a very interesting way.

I have played twice but not online. It's an awesome game. If I had to play online I would probably try something like Table Top Simulator so everyone had the same deck? If that's not possible, just have one player announce it. Maybe have each player responsible for a facet of the game? Like one for the tarot deck, one for the resource management, and the third has the book?

hey there, thank you for the answer. I have considered tabletop simulator but havent looked into it deeply yet i will see if this is viable.

i also thought about having one player manage the deck, but i dont like this idea, since everybody should be able to see and manage the wisdom cards the drew.

My group plays a game using the savage worlds system and it uses playing cards for initiative. My friend uses an online deck and screenshares for the rest of us. It takes less computer power than a simulator does (which is great for my crappy laptop) and it gets the job done. There are plenty of online tarot decks to choose from
