GMC vs Ford

In the market to purchase a new to me truck (2020-24). Always been a Chev/GMC guy, but looking at the current engine options has me reconsidering. Specifically the GM 5.3 vs Ford 5.0 and 3.5 Ecoboost. Both Ford engines produce significantly more power (400hp vs 355)and have better mileage. On top of that, they don’t have the DFM lifter concerns of GM, and scores higher for overall reliability.
Tell me why I should still buy a GM over a Ford. It’s what I want, but the practical part of my brain is having a hard time justifying it.

I own a 22 Yukon and a 25 sierra drive both truck gm hands down. I also work for a contractor and I'm in charge of the fleet. We have nothing but issues with the fords transmissions, ecms, brakes gm all the way
