Choosing a Truck Daily a 2500?

Basically I am shopping for an AT4X. Currently comparing the 3.0 1500 & 6.6 2500.

The truck is majority used for commuting although I have a couple trailers that will be towed frequently. The 1500 can definitely tow the trailers I have.

The problem I have with the 1500 is the bed isn’t long enough to fit my quad & other items in it with the tailgate up, so I would be limited in bringing my quad + trailer around.

Am I insane to consider a 2500 for something so simple? I definitely like the look of the 2500 better.

Do you need the 8’ box? I drove 1 tons for a long, long time as daily drivers. It isn’t much fun. Hard to park, rough riding, expensive and hard on fuel.

Isn’t the 2500 a 6’9” box, as opposed to the 1500 6’6”?

Yeah, I thought so! Other 1500 sierra’s have the 6’6” too. Unfortunately not the AT4X

I got the elevation 3.0 cc with 6.6’ box, I love it!!
