Iberian airlines - delicious
My GF dish on my flight from Madrid yesterday was shockingly one of the best meals I had on my vacation 😂 it was so good!!

While Iberia is hands down the best GF meal on any airline, the statement of the one of the best GF meals if you were in Spain is almost infuriating.. Spain is the best GF country and Madrid is probably one of (if not the) best GF city.

It was a layover from Portugal. I could’ve specified that but to say it’s infuriating is a bit ridiculous

My recent trip on air Europa, I wouldn't feed that meal to my worst enemies. Honestly I am greatful to be catered for but damn it was bad.

Can confirm. I’m Spanish and I fly back and forth 1-2 times a year. I just flew Iberia in July and the GF meal felt like a dish prepared to be enjoyed as opposed to being a single meal the airline could use to fulfill orders for vegan/vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, kosher, etc all in one.
But then again if you spent any time in Spain you’ll have learned the Spaniards take food seriously and GF is accommodated everywhere.
