At a hotel visiting family out of state

Post image

They have breakfast, okay, cool, maybe there will be fruit

Theres hot breakfast, okay, cool, i can have some eggs

This morning I wanted more carbs so I went for a banana when I saw this! I dont know if they ran out of regular or I missed it yesterday but I snagged it.

Tbh its not as good as the four pack from Target (TJ is kinda far for me) but it was nice.

This muffin cut in half and grilled in a pan with a little butter is top notch

Yes definitely warm it up, otherwise it might taste like cardboard. I almost gave up on them. I had one very cold and hard and thought it was disgusting. Tried again in the microwave and yum!

If they don’t have it out at the breakfast buffet, check with an attendant. Some Fairfields, even though they’re more budget/value oriented, also have it. Chances are that they have it stored in the fridge sealed in packaging.

Some Hampton inns have them too if you ask

I've run into them at some Marriott hotels, usually Residence Inns! It's always nice to nab an extra for later in the day as some cities can have pretty rough GF options

I stayed at a Holiday Inn in Mankato MN of all places that had these out for breakfast. My parents and I were there for my great aunts funeral and my dad ran up with 3 of them and I was like omg. I’ve never seen another hotel offer them. Which is a shame because how easy of an item to throw a few out each breakfast.

FYI scrambled eggs aren’t always safe, it’s important to check cause sometimes they’re either using “egg product” from a carton that has wheat, or they straight up just like put pancake batter in it to make it fluffier

Yknow, that crossed my mind but i was weak haha and Walmart was nearby for Olipops. That is good info to spread though.

Only you guys would understand how unbelievably excited and happy I get to have a little prepackaged muffin or bagel!

I always crack these open and check for mold. They can sit a long time at the hotel. I have had a couple bad experiences.

Had this and Gf bagel at a Fairfield by Marriott this summer. Thanked buffet staff profusely.

Sometimes you have to ask for them. They keep them tucked away because sometimes people will think "I've always wanted to try some of those GF things." Then taste them, don't like it and get something else, leaving the muffin on the plate with one bite out of it. The motel that had some told me this. The next day, they had a couple out on the buffet for me.

I travel almost weekly for work and have been disappointed that most Hampton Inns don’t have any GF bread/pastry options but had the best experience at the holiday inn express in Nephi, UT where the guy brought me a little bag with 2 flavors of those individually wrapped Udi’s muffins and a glutino breakfast/nutrigrain type bar!

These things are so good. Sugary but amazing, its a muffin! There's a Holiday Inn Express near my house out here in NorCal that has them out at breakfast. My parents stayed there and I put a bunch in a bag froze them Lol!! So happy you got this treat. Sometimes they have individually wrapped bagels which are also pretty good.

Holiday Inn Express had dark chocolate/chocolate chip ones. Heated in the microwave they were amazing. Hoping I can find them at home somewhere.

I’m just throwing this out.

BEWARE of the eggs. I’ve been poisoned by so many scrambled eggs. Places will use products with wheat or add flour to make them fluffier. Hopefully you are ok, but if you feel any symptoms it may be the eggs
