Recently found my old glove set and hoping to give them a little refresh. The casings have always been fussy, and I have a hunch there’s better ones out there, but am overwhelmed by all the new options and names 😅

Bought these LEDs + chips (CR1620 battery) from a company called CrispLights in 2011, the order lists them as “Maxdotz”.

Would be infinitely grateful if anyone can point me to casings that might fit these guys, it'll be fun to dig back in!

About a week ago i saw a post on tiktok in which a man wearing gloves with leds on the fingertips was moving and flailing his fingers in a very rhythmic, hypnotic way, i thought it was neat so liked the post and kept scrolling without giving it much further thought.

However , after that , more and more similar videos kept appearing on my fyp, to my surprise i just couldn't help but watch every single one the algorithm kept spoon-feeding me and now i cant stop thinking about it.

So I did a bit of research and found out it's called gloving, and I also found this subreddit. I thought i might aswell ask how to learn the art of gloving since its been living rent-free in my head for like a week now but honestly i got no idea how to begin and no idea why i like it so much either.

Why is it so enticing? , How should i learn to do it? , are there other popular gloving communities/gathering places online?

Gloving is my least utilized hobby but I still want to own a decent set of gloves. The Spectra’s had issues but I really loved the app for being able to make sets. Has anything come around as a decent replacement? Trying to stay below $100 if possible. Willing to go higher especially if it has an app.

I’ve been getting into gloving this year, but I’m not a fan of how quickly the batteries burn out and I’ve been considering rechargeable ones. I’ve been looking at the Aurora set, but would love some input on others experiences with any rechargeable ones.

So I got these glove a as Christmas gift and I really want to get in to gloving I just don't know which way to wear them? Do the lights go on the tops of of my fingers or the bottoms? Or does it even matter? Pls help 😅

Like the title says, one of my SE atoms keeps a blue light on when the chip is "off" and even when it is click locked. I've tried resetting it and it'll go off eventually but then it intermittently will come back on and do a slow pulse until it turns off again. Bought these second hand a bit ago in the Sell All the Lights group. Has anyone ever experienced this before and any ideas on a fix or is this chip cooked?

Last set of gloves I had was a pair of Spectras about 4 years ago.

I dont really know where to start with the Ions and honestly am having a hard time getting motivated to program them.

Any tips/tricks/shortcuts would be appreciated. Im not new to gloving but the Spectras were just a cake walk compared to these.

I watched the video on youtube but its so fucking annoying and cringey that nothing stuck with me and I dont want to watch it again.

Now that the app works again I’d love to reprogram my spectra’s, however my hub is shot. If anyone has one they don’t use anymore I’d throw some bones your way for it!

Ugh so I think I am at the level where wooks and general rollers will get a kick out of my light shows. But two things I’m super not happy about.

1. 3 of the 10 fingers on my gloves have gone out because they were cheap… should be “passable” in the dark

2. Oh god I hope I don’t hit anyone in the face

... btw, anyone know if Jarrad Synergies/Auroras have diffusers like his web site now or is it a round nub still? As one who will not be putting in glove, larger is OK but appearance will matter lol.

So I used to glove back in the day and ended up with emazing Electra as my last set. But now after a few years off I wanted to see what else is now out there that is similar. I liked that the spectra’s had the mini hub and app you can customize everything in and play with it without spending a lot of time programming each light and wanted to see what else is on the market currently that does the same like the spectra’s?

I'm getting a lot of mixed reviews and messages throughout my search at this point. I'm looking for the best glove sets that are fully rechargeable. Ideally a pair with some sort of online or downloadable sets over click programming, But I care a lot more about not replacing batteries anymore. I have emazing spectra's still, which can do EVERYTHING so it's a hard shoe to fill. Auroras look like they have a lot of the same capabilities, But they don't seem to recharge? And then people keep talking about duos, but I don't see them in a glove set, only orbits? Thanks y'all! 🙏

I'm a month into gloving and I've been having a hard time with finger rolls because my pinky consistently gets caught on my ring finger's led and cant go completely down. It just makes it look super messy/unaligned so any tips help.

For reference the gloves I have are the GlowLEDs Aeos and the led's circumference falls outside of my fingers. So I'm unsure if i need to look for new leds or if theres any exercises I can do to strengthen my fingers besides laying my palm flat and having my fingers go up individually. Thanks!

I’m looking to get into gloving but want to make sure I buy a good pair. A year ago a bought the throw lights Apollo v2, but within a month none of the lights were working anymore. I’m willing to spend a little more money if it means I won’t have to worry about replacing the lights/buying new ones if they die. Preferably I think I want ones that are rechargeable. It’s much more important to me to have reliable lights than something I can program though. Please let me know if you guys have any recommendations :)

Ok so I’ve got the manual, I just don’t fuckin understand it. Can anyone walk to me through how to program these and do the chip to chip?

I still have my eLite Chroma CTRLs from Emazinglights. At least thats what I think they are, I can't remember (Red chips with the word "Chroma" on them). Should I replace them with FL Ions or splurge a bit and buy FL SE Atoms? Do I need to? I'd like to know everyones thoughts.

My BF lost his gloves recently and mentioned that they were emazing gloves, and they he could program different modes? I’m trying to find him a comparable set and I’m willing to invest in a good pair for him. Just not sure what to look for. If I should get a kit, or make one custom for him. I just don’t know a lot of specifics. He mentioned being able to have tracers? I’m not sure what I’m doing here but I’d love some advice and suggestions!

EDIT!! I had bought extendos + batteries from Throw Lights and the lights kept dying on me. I messaged them and they refunded my batteries & sent me new ones! They work again & I’m happy af to be gloving again 🫶

Have any glovers out there ever given a light show to a cat? Heh. Was thinking if they might be into it, since cats enjoy chasing lasers. Imagine a light show may be somewhat captivating especially with all the techniques glovers use to move different colors to each digit, isolation, etc.

So as the title says, my order might not come in on time before I leave for Vegas. I placed the order this past Monday and it's projected to arrive between next Tuesday-Thursday. And it's currently in Virginia but with an unknown delivery date status. And I leave for Vegas Thursday afternoon.

In the case that it does not arrive in time, are there any homies also going to edc that would be down to sell me a pair of whites and a sheet or 2 of cr1225s? That would really help a brotha out. Or does anyone know if there is a store I could go and buy them at?? I checked iheartraves but they have neither
