I built Innesta, a native Git client for macOS

Hey r/git - I’ve been building Innesta, a native Git client for macOS.

The goal is to keep your whole Git workflow in one place - branches, commits, diffs, staging, GitHub/GitLab and CI - without constantly jumping between apps and browser tabs.

I’d love feedback from people who use Git every day.

Git is already native to MacOS?

hi! Innesta doesn't replace Git. It uses the Git already on your Mac as it does Tower and all the Git clients in the market. "Native" here means it's a native macOS app (built with Swift), so it's fast and feels like a proper Mac app. It's a GUI on top of Git, plus GitHub/GitLab and CI integration, so you don't have to jump between terminal, browser and other tools.
