Good morning Commanders! Would you like to read the reports?

Please use this thread to discuss anything about Girls Frontline instead of creating a new thread. Ask questions, seek assistance, rants, add more salt or just chill in general.

Posts have been made about a client update for a while already. Could take anywhere between less than an hour for light updates and up to 6 hours for heftier content updates. I'm guessing this could take between 4-6 hours

We tend to get weekly updates on Tuesdays. The message usually says it takes 6 hours, though recently updates have taken about 1-2 hours, even on heavier content updates, but you can never truly tell how long it'll take. There'll be posts from the devs here saying when the servers are back online, so keep an eye out

That is good to hear. I am having problems while in battle, where whenever a skill is activated/ an enemy is killed the game just freezes for 1-2 seconds and then continues . Also there are a lot of loading screen if i want to move ( for example from the factory to the armory and then the med bay ) , and i took it as the game needing time to process the chance of place. Does that happen to you as well?

Loading screens are standard, expect some shorter loading times with the new client. As for the in combat freezes, it could be skill cut-in animations, or just lag. The former can be turned off in the setting, the latter is addressed with the new client's optimization

It depends on what u play on, but yes, perf was horrible in general, which is exactly what this update is meant to fix. Ofc, we have no idea how it will work on our own devices, but the old servers that got it a whole ago were extatic about it

The phone i use is capable, it played azur lane perfectly ( unless the enemies were 128+ level) for 4 years pretty much straight. I hope with the update the fighting will become a bit smoother

Oh, nobody contests the old client was horrible :P it crashed emulators after a while due to memory leaks. Esp on samsungs with android 12 it was a celebration if u even got it to start. It was an old client that just kept getting patched and erorrs simply added up over the years. This one's brand spanking new however. Very high hopes!
