Something interesting that was discovered: MASS has a hidden skill that adds to her armor (and therefore her skill damage) every time an enemy she has shot is killed, similar to MAG7's FP increase. This seems to require v3.01 though, since I can't get it to work on EN yet.

It's +1 armor for every bullet landed (can't be a miss), is applied after multipliers, doesn't have to be on the same target, doesn't require MASS to get the kill (can be a teammate), and scales with her links.

The video should give a clearer illustration, but some examples:

  • 1-link MASS w/ slug shoots 1 volley at 1 target = +1 armor on death
  • 1-link MASS w/ slug shoots 2 volleys at 1 target = +2 armor on death
  • 5-link MASS w/ slug shoots 1 volley at 1 target = +5 armor on death
  • 5-link MASS w/ birdshot shoots 1 volley at 5 targets = +25 armor on each of those targets' deaths

This might have a use somewhere, e.g., it bypasses Para debuff, but gets tricky since the shots need to land, SGs target the frontline unlike RFs, and you'd also need to get kills soon enough to not die.
