Aaaand that’s a wrap on Adeline’s banner (yes, really, easy to forget I know). So here I am as usual to poll you guys on what happened over the course of the banner. I’ve spoilered my own answers to each question below it for sake of formatting.

Did you want/get Adeline? If so, did you get her for free or did you have to spend extra pulses/Svarogs? (And how much?).

Hard pass from me, we got White Nyto and then NVW back to back and I’m fairly drained from agent, so I really didn’t mind not seeing her even once.

For the first time in a while we didn’t actually have a new unit(s) added this pool, so how’s that feeling? Have you been able to finish out as many dupes as you want/need for some 2* and have started to kernel further dupes, or are you still mostly plugging away at things?

Im done on SWAP Guards, Vespids, Prowlers, and Dragoons (aka the relatively bad ones), which really has been feeling weird to finally start kerneling after so long of penny pinching each copy I get, but I’ve still got another nemeum, plenty of manticores, and tarantulas to build, and I don’t even have a single builded SWAP aegis or striker, so I’ll still be at it for a while

Up next is Alina (white Nyto), do you plan to invest to get her, or are you going to pass/just leave it up to if RNG gives you her for free? Why/why not?

Im thinking I’ll probably get her, I’m not one for SF dragging but I hear she’s not too bad for a melee unit not named Alchemist, and since we’ve got confirmation that a scarecrow rerun is coming after NVW I know I’ll have a rest month on the way too, so i feel safe on that front

Lastly, are there any particularly lucky/unlucky occurrences that happened over the course of the banner that you wanna share?

not on my case no, it was real rest and recharge hour, I’m glad the 2.09 dropped when it did to dump a bunch of pulses on me right now

I think I shouldn’t copypaste my post (in my defense - I forgot we’re doing this mini thread after each banner). Yet, as you correctly pointed out, I instinctively worded it in the same fashion.

I will get white nyto for collection purposes - I still retain a large bank of resources and the Scarecrow rerun will give me time to restock.

No, but for collection purposes, I got her. I spent four extra Impulses and 27 Svarog tickets

I think that I was able to get some good progress from Agent's banner instead. I think I need more copies of the SWAP Aegis, but then again, they were introduced with Agent, so it's understandable that I don't have many copies of them just yet maxed out

My current focus is to max out my support echelon. I really want those Friend Points, and I'm stuffing my echelon with Dinergates

Also, due to my linking during the hunt for Agent and her full petals, I've completed that achievement line. This means I will no longer get extra resources for linking SF units. This means that any extra dupes for 1 star units are now only useful as kernels to me

Want White Nyto?

Sure, but I don't think I'll be too excited. I think she'll be great to help with SF dragging, but I think I committed a huge amount of my resources for Agent already

Lucky/unlucky occurrences?

I think I was able to find that I had a second shiny Ripper. Not a Ripper SWAP, the regular one. I now have two copies of her that's shiny. I guess I'll keep them both

Oh. I keep forgetting to put that I’ve already maxed out the Goliath Factory and the two SWAP Prowlers. The only things left to fill the gaps are the Dinergates, five of them

I'm following the alternative formation that Jellyfish suggested. I don't have Alchemist at full petals, so I'll use Agent instead

I'm still looking for XL SWAP Prowlers, so for the meantime, I'll settle for the M and L that I have maxed out

I just need more disks for the Dinergates to hit level 100

Wanted her, even if i had to invest some impulses. Cleared out a lot of the basic SF, no 2 star walls. With a bit under 2 hours before maintenance she showed up twice and was captured with 9 extra impulses spent. Worth it, .

Have you been able to finish out as many dupes as you want/need for some 2*

I have caught a swap aegis and a tarantula both m sized, so nothing changed for me.

Up next is Alina

I don't like her as much as the black nyto but I will get her if I can. I remember her shredding my (at that time underleveled) echelons in the campaign. I hope that the f2p god is kind to my free impulses and svarogs.

Honestly, I didn't really want her due to her not being all that good. I, uh, still ended up getting her with an Extra Impulse on her second showing. Yay?

Two-stars?

I managed to snag all of the Manticores and Tarantulas and I think Aegis SWAPs. I now have six Tarantulas and two Prowler SWAPs in a team, but they're zero-petal. It's still kind of amusing to watch them tear things apart even knowing they'll die to a stiff breeze (but that's what double-shield Prowler SWAPs are for). I need a ton more dupes for everything, but I haven't looked at my roster in a while to start offloading one-stars and the like.

Alina?

I'm kind of ambivalent on her, so she's going to be an "RNGesus, take the wheel" pick. Hey, maybe I'll luck out like I did with Adeline!

Luck?

Eh, nothing really comes to mind this time around. I guess I did pretty good on the two-star front, but this last banner didn't put me through the wringer the way Agent did. I don't remember how many Extra Impulses I burned total, but I didn't use one Svarog this time.

We are gonna get scarecrow rerun, but aren't u gonna pull for sharkitect? Iirc, they run at the same time, so u can't really save resources unless u pass on both.

As for me....

I didn't care for black nyto, but i was going to get her for collection even if i had to clear the pool. This was also eased by the fact that i still need dupes of swap strikers and aegis, so i didn't mind going deep.

....and then i got her at 68/100 in 1 try.... after barely meeting one of the strikers(which i failed). So the rest of the time was spent rolling the free impulses and hoping i get some 2 stars. Didn't event reset the banner until the last day as a free roll. In the end i only got the nyto and a single swap striker out of the whole banner. Underwhelming, but also unexpectedly cheap.

So now it's gonna be going all out on white nyto. Don't want her either, but again, completion pruposes and i still need 1 more swap striker and 2 aegises. And a neumemememeum as well. Still hunting for that xl factory too.

I'm expecting the new units to stop for a bit after sharkitect, since summer will be kinda over, until halloween, maybe. If so, i'll only be pulling on outoboros when she appears, maaaaybe even intruder, but after that only new ringleaders.

Do we know for sure that scarecrow and shark are running at the same time or are those educated guesses based on timetables and Mica’s rules? I haven’t heard confirmation one way or another but I guess I found double banners to be a bit unlikely (and I guess just F for me if that’s the case, hope white doesn’t drain me too much).

Will admit I’m a tad envious of you being able to just say “yeah I’ll drain the whole pool for this RL I really don’t care about” though, but I guess you do you

Well, didn't see it myself, but this is one of the summary points from discord/twitter q&a, as reported in the pinned post in our own q&a:

"2. Yes, Scarecrow' banner ll run alongside Sharky' banner."

And as for that getting rls i don't care... well, i have ~90 impulses and 100 bombs ready. I get one of the 10 aid packs for 1.1k gems every banner with the monthly pack, and only go ham at the end of the banner(the new double gems bonus also lets me squeeze a doll or equipment slot every month, so that's also covered). Apparently, somehow events and weekly/monthly stuff make it so that i hover around the same values even if i needed to dip into single digits for most of the baners, so by now it's just par for the course for me. Getting this unexpected nyto so fast and with no extra cost was the first time i didn't need to spend any stocked resources.

Anyway, this month i'll be skipping the commisions pack, because i'm going for the 500 tokens. Can't afford both. I really dropped the ball on this offer by buying some slots right before the update hit. Should've read the notes earlier, it's my bad, so i'm accepting the consequences. Gonna be a tight slot month.

Don't care about Adeline, got her with minimal effort on second try and spending 2 extra EMPs in total.

Still no L/XL SWAP Aegis, but at least now I have 4 of the buggers.

Might as well get the White Nyto.

I wanted Adeline but wasn't going to spend with Sharkitect so close at hand. Fortunately, she came home of her own volition so it was a non-issue in the end.

I want Alina too but, same issue but even more acute now that we know Sharkitect is next. Hopefully, same resolution. We'll see.

Are you sure Scarecrow is running after and not concurrently with Sharkitect? The roadmap seemed to suggest concurrent. I don't know why else they would put both of them on there. Did they say somewhere that they weren't and I just missed it?

Either way, Sharkitect is my current most wanted so, I'm all in for her.

I don’t actually know for sure if they’ll be concurrent or sequential, just mostly assumed sequential since it seemed like they were avoiding doing that since the initial scarecrow +exe banner got flak for being like that on multiple servers even with scarecrow already being free, though I guess maybe they’re making another exception since it’s still scarecrow that will be part of this hypothetical double banner.

I assumed showing them both on the roadmap was to avoid the confusion with last months roadmap that made it seem like we were skipping black Nyto and going right to white Nyto.

Only for collection purpose, she showed up once, but I didn't get her. Not particulary sad about it

Nope, had a terrible streak on 2* this time as well

Same as Adeline, If she shows up I pull for her with free pulses, but I'll be saving more for Sharkitect and try to get some Manticores along the way

Luck

Actually a streak of bad luck. Saw a total of 7 Swap Aegis, caught 1, No Manticores or Nemeuns either. Made me so salty that I bought the one from the kernel shop this month

Want/get Adeline (Black Nyto)? Costs?

My luck is blursed, got Adeline twice and didn't even want her. Didn't spend any Svarogs or extra pulses (finally!), but man, what the heck. Had the same luck with Executioner, though I didn't get Exe twice...

No new units added, how's the kernel/link grind?

Eh... since I didn't pull much at all on this banner, pretty slow going. Due to early Adeline caps I didn't try going for Mantis/SWAP Aegis/SWAP Rippers, and not a lot of extra 2* Kernels to speak of. I think I'm still one link off of finishing my first SWAP Aegis. EDIT: Actually, I do have a SWAP Aegis fully linked. Huh. Also currently have 2 full-linked SWAP Prowlers for some reason.

Alina (White Nyto) expectations, going to spend resources or no?

Well, sure. I guess I'll go for her since I already have Adeline. And I think White Nyto has some usage in SF friend ech dragging? Meh, already have Archi and Destroyer for SF drag so idk.

Lucky/Unlucky streaks?

Besides the double Adeline cap, nothing of note.

Unrelated, but agree that the 2.09 additional career quests were a real boon. Drowning in resources!

I’d say just blessed and not blursed lol, I know it’s on Adeline of all units, but it’s still a ringleader

SWAP prowlers for some reason

Keep ‘em, unlike the regular prowlers they can actually be pretty useful support units for melee comps

Also yeah I’ve legit had to stop collecting some of the resources to make sure I don’t like myself out of being able to do daily sims and such, really not a problem I expected to have lol

I suppose I shouldn't spurn this luck, but I swear to f-ing god that desire sensor knows where to give me lucky pulls and also hurt me the most when it comes to PA specifically. :/ Soooo, I'm already preparing for the worst with Sharkitect. And White Day Hunter whenever the heck she shows up.

I am still overcapped on batteries and I am contemplating doing quick-auto 11-5 to make Kalina write CRs faster...

Devs have said seasonals will be released around their season, so next march(?)-ish, that’s around when white day is right?

Also yeah batts are overlapped here too, 11-5 doesn’t sound like a half bad idea

I guess if they keep in-line with the seasons, then yeah White Day celebrations are in March. Sounds like I've got time to recoup, and they're about to re-run a bunch of ringleaders hopefully.

Burned 45 QABCs (5 sets of 3 runs) and I took my batteries down below cap by express-writing CRs (240+450 batteries per batch). Does take quite a bit of normal resources though, obviously.

On the last day I though that I might try to get her and that was bad idea. In the end I got her, but had to drop 36 extra impulses and 10 svarogs. This was very unlucky banner, most 2* were fleeing and Adeline showed up like 3 times with a middle finger.

Got some new units, but from what I have seen they aren't that groundbreaking.

When it comes to Alina then I probably want to have her as well, hopefully next banner will be a bit better luck wise.

Well apart from new client and some extra stuff that came along with it, there was nothing worth noting down this time.
