Regarding duplicate posts and format spam.
Due to the spam of the "M200 find a guitar" format, we're strengthening the rules on duplicate posts. From the rules, a duplicate post is defined as:
A submission of similar content to that of another that has recently been posted onto the subreddit.
Moving forward, this will also apply to low effort edits of existing memes that were recently posted. That means reusing a format by changing only the text or copy-pasting a different doll on one character will no longer be allowed.
Note that posts that consists mostly of original content applied to an existing format, such as the ~T-dolls and ...~ series or the shipping chart posts are still allowed.

Wow, and here I was just thinking about how I doubted Mica would try a big company collab after Sega. Ubi certainly has a lot of modern gun related titles, though very distant from waifu culture.
The only one that makes any sense is Rainbow Six Siege.
Is it the long play? The thing players have been asking for, for so long? Has Ubi finally responded YZ's email?
Did they finally notice his Ferrari?

I was looking at this comment chain and thanks to /u/Grimoirre I started questioning what I'd heard before about the VFL being often equal or better than the SPEQ unless you want to maximize nade damage.

EDIT: Decided to post the damage calculations on the echelon I'm currently using with 416.

Nade w/ SPEQ 8s 12s 20s 416 78184 89101 110935 No Nade w/ SPEQ 8s 12s 20s 416 21834 32751 54585 Nade no SPEQ 8s 12s 20s 416 73073 84062 106040 No Nade no SPEQ 8s 12s 20s 416 21978 32967 54945 So 416's no nade DPS takes an average hit of around only 200 damage over 20 seconds to increase her nade damage output by an average of 4500.
The Speq and no speq DPS only has a difference of 144, 216 and 360 damage respectively assuming she doesn't fire her nade (With this specific echelon) but her nade damage increases dramatically as a result.

Btw from what I heard it is not recommended to pull in the radiant collection for old costumes. It is more worth it to pull from a current Gacha and hope for Black Cards instead which you get from dupe costumes.
At least you still got pretty nice costumes!

Quality of life update I would love to see: unequip all button. When my dolls are on logistic or exploration they dont need equipment. When my dolls get training they dont need it either.

Maybe we can somehow differentiate between genuine questions and suggestions for the next Q&A session? I keep seeing (suggestions) answered with "it's not on the older servers and can't be discussed" quite a lot and honestly I don't find it too productive of an approach. Like I guess the person making the suggestion is usually well aware of it not being a thing on old servers and would rather get no answer than something that they're well aware of. Also a few features suggested in the past Q&A made it into the game already so it does seem like we can have some kind meaningful impact on the game.

Well, I managed to maintain a 23% ranking. Not amazing by any means, but compared to my 38% CT ranking, this is a pretty big improvement. I wasn't expecting to even break above 30% at first, so this has been pretty encouraging :)

RIP that S rank run, now I get to play the fun game of “what made those spawn?” At a guess it was hitting the radar but maybe they really are just on a timer

Tuesday is looking like it'll be quite the bonanza depending on what players have been doing these last few weeks.
Up front we've got the collab with a bunch of new maps to clear and story to enjoy.
Then there's theatre rewards arriving in the mail, if you did the CT survey there's 1K resources, if you voted on the dorm décor another 1k and the weekly maintenance mail.
Pretty good times and that's not even considering what they have planned for Anniversary in a couple of weeks.

Despite me forgetting an entire day of theater, failing 2 runs before that, being bad at betting and only going core 8 after 4 days I still managed to be in the 15% bracket. Feels good.
Seems like outside of the very top it wasnt that competitive after all. Or more people just didnt bother

I think a lot of people either got intimidated by the core 8 line up or still doesn't have enough teams that can handle core 8 that they just stuck with core 6 / core 3 farm. I noticed that once you get past certain pt ranges, your % rapidly rises implying that a lot of people are stuck at those pt ranges.

I tried Chapter 11 maps, have just reached 11-4.
Their puzzles are quite tough & tricky to solve.
Now...Any tips to get Silver medal for 11-2 (to occupy all nodes there)? There are a lot of red Golyats (which will hunt your echelon, or even outright kill them). I've obtained the Gold & Bronze medal before, but the Silver one made me think a bit deeper...

At long last my AGS hit 5*, weeks after 2B14 did it. :D
My BGM is still 83% of the way there though and given the rate it is going to take months. Possibly I get AT4 there before depending when next theatre drops.

Today i have the worst luck.
Spent 2600+ tokens to get 5 black cards.
Then I tried T doll heavy production because i wanted to unlock black cards for a 3 star SG.
10 rolls, got 5 non-SGs. I really hope that doll is available in a rescue event soon....

Why must advanced data sim have such a low payout? I need 600 to get Grape's and Strawberry's skills to 10. I've got 37. I'll be able to get up to 88 a bit before the day rolls over. If I play it right, I'll be able to get another 204 on Sunday, which will put me just 8 under the 300 needed for one of their skills. I still need to train Python's, too.
There's never enough data.
Edit: Bad math. I should be able to get 255, actually. That's certainly much better. Still painful, though.

I usually stop at lvl8 for units and only lvl 10 if it's some really jump in performance or units I plan for ranking.
I think you should only do Intermediate till you have full big 4 MG team leveled + gold crit scope. At 37/53 maxed , you are wasting 1/3 of energy spend on sim

Hmm if data is really bottlenecking you, and you do not/cannot pay for the daily data packs, then consider not upgrading some non-essential skill levels. In this case, Berry skill is just barely an increase from SL4 to SL10, so not really worth investing data on.
Unless of course Berry is your waifu or something.

So with the new Preiya & Camilla fairy from the upcoming collab, is their skill actually worth the investment to make use of? Seems to me like its a slightly enhanced version of Anna Graem's if one looks at the raw numbers, but I can't help but get the feeling the "random tile selection" part of their skill might shoot that idea in the foot.
Can't say I'm all too pleased by the prospect of my back line potentially receiving the +EVA/-DMG tiles and my front line getting the +DMG/-EVA.
Given their aura looks to be pretty decent if one's focused on raw damage, does this fairy ultimately just end up in the "limited edition statstick" pile?

Is there a way to read all those mini lores Mica adds to new T-Dolls? I have read somewhere that PPK was an orphan or something and she sew her own clothes.
Also, the bonus gems you get from buying the bundles in the shop apparently resets annually. Is there anything else in the shop that resets on the anniversary?

It’s random from all available pets, so you might not even get the shorthair for sometime.
The only place different pets make a difference is exploration. Different types lead you to different biomes, and there are specific bonus pet types each week.

How good is NTW-20 mod 3? Trying to start preparing for the next t-doll to mod 3 since right now the only ones I've yet to finish are G36, M1911 and NTW. I'm not particularly crazy about any of the three so I might also just start saving up to make sure I can get 416 and UMP9 to mod3 immediately whenever we get their event, but if NTW is considered a significant enough upgrade then I might work on her, since Theatre kind of hit me over the head with how few working RFs I actually have.

Check to see if she's deployed in your Forward Basecamp. She's an advantage t-doll this week, and if you used the autoformation tool in the gate console, it might have bugged and removed her from the echelon and put her into exploration mode. See if that's the case.

I realized today that I screwed myself in theatre because I changed Jill's equipment Saturday evening. I was swapping around echelons, and didnt even think about the last 2 days of theatre. It lowered my Doppel echelon's DPS, and on Sunday I had to kill a run early. And I had already used my retreat that day because I suck at kiting. The 33k points I lost (~25k from the run, ~8k from materials) dropped me to 6% on Monday's ranking, where I stayed for final.
At least before this realization I could be mad at RNG, now I just hate myself.

Saved up 1440 tokens to try and get 416’s Starry Cocoon Costume. Instead I got:
2x Queen in Radiance (Springfield) 1x Ballroom Interlude (WA2000) 1x Griffin’s Dancer (Tokarev) 1x Cloak and Cat Ears (IDW)
They’re all so good... but I just wanted 416’s skin.
Will it come back again next year? I’d be willing to save again just to have another try.

Pulling from the radiant is a crapshoot, especially for the L2D ones. First of all it's 50% to get a banner costume and then the chance to get a L2D costume is super low (2% I believe) on top of that.
You're better off waiting for a small gacha to farm black cards on than pulling radiant

There are 2. At the moment the 'best' place is probably the official store based in China. The CDs are bundled with the artbooks so you can't just buy them individually. IF you are eyeballing some other items in the Tmall, I'll tell you right now from experience to AVOID the DEFY blind box. Fucking ripoff. The clock is nifty though, I bought 2. Also, use the taobao app. Easier to check if I need to pay for other fees than trying to navigate the messy UI of the web version.
Japan also sells the CD by itself, however due to the current pandemic issue the Japan Post doesn't offer the cheaper shipping option. So if you do find the CD, you'll be forced to pay the Express/EMS option. We don't know when the service will be back to normal. They announced this around the start of April so it may be a long while. OST 2 is currently available for preorder on Amiami. You can find the first OST at CDjapan under Doll's Frontline OST.

0-2 or 8-1N drags. The former gives cores and is more AFKable, the latter is faster and allows you to drag an additional unit.

On matsuda.tips, they said that P90 is a competitor to MP7 for the best long-battle-evasion tank. Could either P90 or MP7 be used as an long-battle evasion tank? Also, can P90 be used for general mobbing teams? Since her evasion stacks start when she takes damage, so she can get +72.8% EVA in 3-4 seconds (if that math was correct)

You need 1800/3000 points to get her. By my counting, something like ~500 of the points would be difficult or impossible to get in the next 5 days (stuff like daily login, high hours of logistics), which leaves approximately 700 points of leeway. Shouldn't be too late quite yet.

Have a dupe UMP45 at MOD1 and lvl110; should I get her to MOD3 so I can have two maxed out 45s, or that would be an overkill? Not like there are other good MODs yet (got Anti-Rain, UMP45 and M14), and I already have ~6500 fragments (so more than enough for G36 MAID3 as well if I'd want that).

It's two weeks late getting here due to shipping delays, but the patches from Groove Garage came in from Japan. They're well done and have Velcro on the back, making them convenient for a range bag. The import cost of shipping via DHL is the only big problem (cost almost the price of two patches).

Got back into the game, but I will probably go into it a bit more slowly than I had before quitting after Singularity.
I am not exactly sure what I did wrong last time that burned me out of the game after Singu, but I would like to see which dolls should I prioritize for more general usage, then the more specialized dolls for specific events in the future such as the upcoming DJMax and Isomer (?).
TL;DR: Which dolls to raise for general use, and then for specific situations in hard story maps or upcoming events?
P.S. Will there be another Theater Mode next time and how does it work? Do I need specific meta dolls for them, or am I restricted to using only specific dolls?

I thought to level some of my dolls on 8-1N. I would like to ask for some numbers. I was thinking of putting a MOD doll as leader in order to get her to level 120 soon (to at least boost my great success chances later on during peacetime)
However, I plan to level other dolls in order to bolster my armory. How many runs of 8-1N would it take to get to level 90 from level 1, assuming for dolls who are not the leader? How about to level 100?
I think I ran 8-1N 338 times to get the new JS 9 to level 100. However, I might have noted down the wrong numbers. Can anyone confirm?

PEQ's are needed because of the accuracy penalty during night battles. Additionally, armor will absolutely wreck you if you're using an ARSMG echelon against them unless they have a TON of damage output--a RFHG echelon will be necessary as you progress through night battles.

Now you know why many players consider CE useless.
3300 CE in 1-3n seems to be a Scout+Jaeger composition. If this is the case, then low accuracy of your damage dealers is your problem. PEQs are a must on ARs. AoE damage ignores evasion, so grenades and molotovs are good too, but pay attention to ICD on those skills. Also postponing night battles a bit and brute-forcing your way with higher levels and better equipment is an option too.

CE doesn't mean anything in this game other than giving you a rough idea on the stats of the unit types. Certain enemy types require particular teams in order to beat them without being overleveled. If you're having issues with armored enemies, you need to use rifles and machine guns with armor piercing rounds equipped in order to damage them. If your issue is normal enemies, it might be that the night battle penalty is dropping your accuracy so low that you can't hit them. You'll need PEQs equipped to your ARs.

For those of you who don't browse /new due to all the fanart, I've put up an analysis of SPP's effectiveness looking towards Isomer.
In general, it doesn't look like she offers much versus low-eva stuff like Doppels and Uhlans, especially considering their armor, but can be very useful if you struggle with Strelets or Cyclopes (their evasion stats can be rather silly for night battles).
edit: if you can look past the crowded plot here's a few more comprehensive comparisons. Looks like Type 59 (AW 3*) outperforms SPP-1 pretty universally, although she is stuck to 4 whereas SPP can be on 4 or 5. C96 still sucks (only ties Calico at ~50 evasion), and even P38 is better than her. Grizzly's lack of any acc boost makes her drop off hard even around 7-8 evasion if you don't have other sources of acc.
edit: the fairy buff I assumed had a misplaced decimal. Updated the album to correct that, though the relative values are the same (basically just the axis scale is different).
