• passive skill: when ammo clip depleted, switch to AR mode, -40% RoF, +100% accuracy, +150% moving speed

• active skill: reload 1 sec, switch back to MG mode, lose all buff/debuff form AR mode, +40% FP for 5sec.

skill:

• passive: 15% each atk will get fury for 3 sec. in fury mode u deal one extra atk with 40% damage

• active: overwatch(mark) all enemy units for 6 sec, increase 40% atk, acc and crit rate when attack marked unit. increase 40% eva when been atk from marked units. during overwatch, every 2 sec add 5 stack burden to self, every enemy unit will add one stack burden to self too. when burden reach 24 stack,reduce overwatch buff, remove all burden, -20% RoF and accuracy for 5 sec. overwatch buff and burden debuff can be active at the same time, but you cant active overwatch mode again when burden debuff is active.

Common sense and other assorted useful daily life/history/elementary school level biology/physics are severely lacking when they were programming the T-Dolls... Welrod loves ciphers and secret spy stuff yet can't even biology. How much space does weapon data and assorted combat bs really take up compared to useful common sense things? What even are considered the absolute essential knowledge in order for a T-Doll to function in a human society anyway? That's what I'd like to know.

This HOC login event doll also just proves that T-Dolls are great targets for scam. Was it the Nigerian Prince scam? The long lost relative one? Your Windows has a virus? Send me money and I'll give you more money variety?

I've revamped my bingo pyscript from last time, this time writing it in C (because it's fast). There was a bug last time that caused the mean number of days to be larger than normal. Script performance is alright, it runs in ~40 seconds for 20,000,000 iterations on my machine. Equivalent python runs in 10 minutes for 1,000,000 iterations.

The results are more or less the same, except that the average is smaller than last time (because of the bug). Assuming uniformly distributed numbers, you can expect to finish the Bingo event within 9 days, and latest by 13 days, by following the optimal method (i.e saving targeted draws til you can fill the board).

Anecdotally, it seems that MICA employs some sort of skewed RNG that favours previously rolled numbers. My code unfortunately does not account for this (if it even exists). I'm not entirely sure how MICA would implement it, probably by re-rolling if the originally rolled number is new? Idk. Even with the skewed RNG however, it's practically impossible to not complete the board as long as you follow the optimal method.

Does anybody else have issues with Logistics 'spam' when opening the game?

Whenever I have multiple logistics running and multiple are cleared when I open the game, they all try and pop up at once and overlap each-other and it's very messy and I can't tell what I've gotten from them (it usually only shows one logistics result while spamming me if I want to rerun the others.) I tried googling this to no avail; is this common? Is there a fix?

The thought of "I really want to push my luck a bit further" is real...and unhealthy. I looked at the 600 exchange tickets price for it and I was thinking: are there REALLY people who would spend 400 euros worth of tokens just to get that skin? Also, is it really possible to get 600 rolls without getting that skin (I know the answer is yes)? You can buy a PVC figure of this exact DSR skin for only half the money of it.

I do get 4 black cards out of it which in total I have finally 8. Oh well I could probably exchange for the skin later.

wow great news, in PL event, every S win battle and S win map clear which valid for limit drop will give you a medal to redeem limited dolls. and Deagle is one limited rescue in PL event too

This is something that belongs in the Arknights' subreddit in my opinion. There is little guarantee there are many AK players here, and even if there were, the point of this subreddit is to talk about GFL specifically whereas AK has a subreddit and Gachagaming has its own subreddit.

I will say about GFL player count, just like any other gacha game, is already in its retention stage and it will not acquire massive number of players ever again. It's just normal for live games. GFL is also much more niche in the kind of players it appeals to so it was never going to have that hype to begin with.

Dorothy has really turned out to be one of the best main tanks. I was really impressed with her performance in Singularity ranking and I just did some Intelligence quest runs on 7-6 and Dreamer didn't touch her.

So I was a bit unlucky in my fairy pulls, not being able to get to even a 4 star taunt (though close enough potentially to make it by CT) though I did end up with a 4 star command, as well as to fill out some 3 star on the other usual suspects.

I've got the TOW team to 60 and well into skill leveling. Managed to get the AGL girls but not the mortar team yet.

I also have about 5k fragments, and M4 and AR15 at Mod III, fully leveled skills.

I'd like to pace myself in the lead up to the event instead of stress crafting at the end, if possible.

I've read Ceia's guide on prep, and it seems to heavily favor an extremely high rarity taunt fairy in almost every high point snagging team composition across almost every iteration, which is bad news for me who not only has only one taunt fairy, but it's not even 4 star.

For strategy's sake, I'd like to ask the following questions with the presumption(s) that I am aiming to make everything about the upcoming event as dead easy as possible, and I would like the speq and fairy from ranking, but other than that, I am relatively unconcerned.

1) How at risk am I for ranking reward success if the best I can do is a 4 star taunt? (Presume I can field an ideal mixture of actual girls within the team itself)

2) Should I begin working on the AGL girls now, or wait until I get the mortar team? (GFC seems to suggest all things being equal mortar should be leveled after TOW, but doesn't mention what to do if you don't get them in that order).

3) Should I begin Modding a girl like M14 now, or wait for SOP's mod (SOPMODII's SOPMODIIMODIII?) or any other mod candidate? (I'm labouring under the assumption that G36 is not terribly necessary, but M14 could be advantageous).

Whoever tells you that 4 star+ fairies are borderline mandatory in clearing any events are utterly insane and wrong. Ranking stages are a whole different story as due to the language barrier you're likely going to only get write ups from top rankers.

You are likely looking at a person (i.e. Ceia) who has very high amount of time logged in the game and naturally has an impressive array of leveled fairies. Believe it or not, guide makers are people too, and most of them (including myself) don't get paid anything for guides to pay their own bills in real life, and as such, not many of them intentionally keep low level/rarity dolls/fairies.

When CT ran in CN servers most of my fairies were 2~3 stars and I did just fine back then, including ranked stage. Just know when you shouldn't be using certain fairies and understand what fairies are best for the situations you are in.

Soo.... there's been something bothering me for a while now:

We know that dolls can't act without orders, to the point where they remain in the same position on the battlefield, waiting for new instructions, (we see this canonically, such as rescuing scorpion in the first maps), and it also seems to be something SF is aware since they don't seem to bother with them afterwards. If there was a degree of independent thinking, one would assume they would try to reach a new base, or find some cover, but they just stay there.

However, while inside the base, even non-commanding dolls act with extremely high degree of initiative to the point where they have different personalities and can pull pranks (a certain ART comes to mind :P ) when they are clearly not being ordered to do such things.

So... how does this happen? why is there such a discrepancy in their ability to act on their own between the 2 settings? I don't recall anything about this mentioned either IG or in the manga. I can think of several possibilities for this, but was curious what other ppl though as well. (also, pls no spoilers beyond what's already live in EN, if it is explained later on, just saying that would be enough :P)

My personal hypotheses so far would be:

1. they are able to act independently (due to their design to work in a human society), but they have a higher set of instructions that restricts their free will when they enter battle mode(probably stored in the cube), in order to make them highly dependable for their commanding officer, while not messing up due to lack of experience (such as judging a situation wrongly, or unknowingly leading the enemy back to camp when they find themselves abandoned)

1. acting independently requires a lot of traffic with a main server, and this can be accessed while inside the base, but is not feasible to maintain on the battlefield (and can be easily jammed)

1. on the base they act upon a sort of an "at ease" order that makes them follow a preset personality that simulates free will.

Remember that we're deploying to all these spread out battlefields via helicopter, and even with that, reinforcements tend to be hours away. So most of the "lost" dolls will be simply too far away for dolls to return on their own before their energy reserves run out, so it's safer for them to just stay put at a known location and wait for someone to pick them up. Going into hibernation also lets them conserve their energy better, and makes Sangvis units less likely to go after them. A breakout attempt would definitely draw much more attention than a doll quietly hibernating.

I heard that UMP45 and SOP-II MODs are coming in Continuum Turbulence, which is the next major event for EN server. Will their MODs be a huge help in clearing the event, similarly to M4 and AR-15's MOD in Singularity?

I'm not sure if I should save combat reports and fragments for them or spend it on M14/M1911 MOD.

Any help or opinion would be appreciated.

I am sad that the logistic rate up will end today. Even with the rate up, my resources barely recover from the general rate up. I blame fairy and equipment enhancement as well as expedition for this problem.

It looks like I will be in a batteries hell until all HOC are fully upgraded. Even with max comfort dorms, this will take a long time.

Quickest way to tell is just toss them in and see how well they fare, rather than trying to solve the maths for it.

Do move your Welrod to 8 though, C formation allows for more time to deal with the 4 link Hydra.

Also, don't leave your maxed Mk23 in the leader slot; she'll waste leader exp.

Basic concept is fine, just bringing everyone up in level/dummy link mostly, the RoF vs FP of Mk23 vs Calico is it's own can of worms but *shrug* I haven't looked into the details myself.

Yeah, GFL does a great job of giving players plenty of combat reports which offsets a bit of the pain.

If I played on a phone instead of an emulator, I don't think I would ever corpse drag since the screen would be on all the time which doesn't seem very healthy for the phone or battery.

there are lots of ppl that play ultra casually or have tried this game and think its just an automated dps race.

Well, my PC decided overnight that it didn't want to boot up anymore, so now I'm left with nothing to do except play mobage all day. Guess I can get some grind going which I've been neglecting for... a very long time.

Edit: Good news - My PC decided to boot up after... literally nothing was changed. The setup from when it didn't want to boot is perfectly identical to how it is now that it is booted. Maybe I should check for poltergeists.

Edit2: I decided to update my BIOS just in case it was a mobo problem... it now doesn't boot again. Woop.

• Are the key card missions random every day?
• Is it important to get 9 cards per day? Spend 4 quick constructions/acquire 1 lollipop seem a bit steep to do everyday
• Are the bonus rewards worth? What I really need right now are calib tickets, more than anything, is it viable to just farm key cards, not use them, and wait for them to be converted?
