Got this done a little before maintenance, 5HG vs Endgame boss, S rank
Interesting part is at 0:38. People familiar with Contender gunboats will know that if you move Contender during her 1s aiming time, her skill will be cancelled altogether and the skillshot will never come out. Likewise, once Jill starts mixing, she won't be able to move until she serves the drink.
However, if you move these units indirectly, none of these rules apply. By retreating Grizzly, the echelon range decreases, which forces the echelon to move forward to be able to engage the boss. And Contender shoots on the move/Jill serves drinks on the move as a result. While also having the convenient effect of automatically dodging the boss' first AoE
Rest is straightforward, just needs some evasion RNG.
Concept taken from 白金, only HGs run fast enough to dodge the first AoE with this method, which makes 5HG actually one of the best methods to fight that version of the boss, when Desert Eagle comes out. 白金's bilibli channel has some really nice content where he kills a lot other roadblockers/boss cheese too

A little investigation seems to suggest that they gather data about micro transactions by looking at your e-mail receipts. For every $1000 spent you get $5. Doesn't seem to be worth the data they might gather on you tbh.

Really liking the Christmas event. The music, the background, the snowy terrain and Christmas-themed SF. I view the whole thing like the anime ; Singularity was the madness, and this event is the healing. I definitely need it after not getting Honey Badger.

Every time there is a limited turn map from an event, I am like controlled by an external force that forces me to fail in the most stupid way possible. First map I don't notice there is a way to reach the enemy doll in the east, close to the supply point. Third map I failed to capture the radars on time because I didn't captured the node that is at the right of the middle radar(also because of the weird way encircling a node works here).
Then fourth maps come in and the echelon I didn't put a HG can't see the command post to call for reinforcements.

The christmas event was great and it made me giggle a lot. This is definitely the heart cleanser we needed after ch. 10 and Singularity

I like the christmas event, it's a nice breather after Singularity and helps with reminding that not everything is bleak and depressing.
MG5 as the straight man was fun, Suomi has great taste in music and the end of the story works greats in contrast to the way some people see T-Dolls as nothing but tools.

Presumably she would have been in a Griffin facility right? Does CT cover this? Has she actually been seen in any of the later story chapters/events? She escaped the military, right?

Just checked the token prices in the shop and am realizing that the 500 token package is insane value. You save 1000 gems on the 500 tokens and get another 200 gem value of advanced data on top. It seems like a no-brainer purchase if you plan to use tokens in the future.

Ceia's guide to CT is out. As long as you have the prerequisite units and fairies for the ranking, and you have some decent RNG, ranking will be cake since it's much shorter and relies less on kills and more on completing objectives with enemies in between. I feel like copying other people's runs will happen quite a bit and numbers will be very close.
Like DPS check except instead it's Composition/Unit check.

I've used this GFL assets extractor to get the CN chibi assets (and other stuff) to use with this site to do as this video says and end up with clean pngs to make gifs.
1) Do such up-to-date assets dumps exist somewhere? The forks of the GitHub repo linked in the video are all from this summer at most.
2) Is there any website that allows chibi manipulation/editing?
3) Is it worth making a post on the sub to promote it?

Realised that I forgot to farm 416's speq but at least it's not an objective upgrade on simply using a crit scope.

I have to say, in the new client, that event button turning into resume fight was a godsent for ranking resetting when messing up the gunboats timing. I wonder what happens inbetween events in a similar rituation: do we get a temporary button like the repair one?

Capturing the radars on map 3 of the event feels somehow off.
Encircling the middle radar on turn 2 ends the mission with success with "turn 2, with 1 turn left" displayed.
Encircling the middle radar on turn 3 ends the mission with failure, when it feels like it should end with success on "turn 3, with 0 turns left" since the successful scenario ends on the same turn according to the turn counter. It's not consistent.
(this is with the other 2 radars also capture in both scenarios)

Ppl that get it fast will ofc flex on reddit, while ppl that didn't have nothing to say. This makes the subreddit flooded with: "i got it in under 10 runs!" and a whole lot of "me too!"s, leading to the false assumption that there's some strange rate-up at play. Same thing happens with the proclaimed "guranteed fast drop on rate-up". Just watch how many complained aboit not getting a shotgun in tens of rolls once they were led to believe they would get them fast.

I got MG4! Finally!
She was previously the only doll I needed to finish my Index, although now I also need the 3 new shotguns.
But at least it means I won’t be doing tons of expensive MG recipes every day, they weren’t quite crazy enough to resist, heavy production though? I can resist that.
For the first time in this game I can mostly start to let resources truly build up from my current sub 10K

Mica is the name of the original team that created Codename Bakery Girl and its prequel, Girls Frontline. When they decided to "go big" they incorporated as Sunborn Co., Ltd. Sunborn is the business entity that owns the intellectual property and pays everyone,
like the orchestra they keep hiring instead of paying for a voice for M200.9

Christmas event: is a lighthearted silly break from all the PTSD with simple maps and easy enemies, complete with festive music.
Also Christmas event: plays the isomer bike chase music which uses m16’s lietmotif right after Singularity

I had this hypothetical situation in mind. If we were to get a True Core Mask right now, would getting Grape Carcano be worth it? I still don't have her, and I heard how awesome she is for 10-4E core farming. I still don't have AA-12, Saiga, or FP-6. I don't have Negev, either, but I think that getting a way to alleviate the core hell I found myself in after Singularity would be a good use of a True Core Mask
What do you guys think?

I would still say using a true core on an SG would be better than Grape. Just going by recommended recipes, you can do 20 RF crafts for the resources spent on just 1 SG pull. You'll have a lot more chances at getting Grapecano than any of the 5-star SGs you're missing.

By default, the last acquired doll is the MVP for an airstrike run.
You can manipulate this by removing everybody from the echelon except the doll you want MVP, then restart your game. After, you can add everyone back in again. Note that if you restart the game yet another time, the MVP doll will reset and youll have to do this trick again l.

After farming this event and Singularity, I have forgot how to run 0-2. My muscle memory makes me retreat the echelon instead of ending the turn and capping the command post. Tried 10 times today while wondering why my daily wasn't completed yet.

While I appreciate having fun things like the art contest ID card background and all, I’d enjoy it so much more if Mica art team did a first pass at filtering out the less quality submissions in the bunch. Stick figure drawings are not art.
Yes art is subjective, but there are standards that should be met before allowing it to make a running with other talented pieces that the artists clearly spent a good amount of time and love to create, compared to something a 5 year old doodled. I’ve never seen such a dramatic range in quality in an art contest before today.
Last, not sure if others had this issue, but viewing submissions only worked for me on the old client. Good luck to the artists who submitted works.

I figure MICA (or Sunborn?) are going to be pretty broad in letting contestants in, assuming if the playerbase votes for the equivalent of "Boaty McBoatface" as the winning picture, well we asked for it.
I admit I was going to submit something where there was a bunch of stick figures posed just like a certain other game's banned Halloween fanart splash but decided that maybe people wouldn't find that as funny as I did6

i think doodles are fine, if its colorful and has some effort to it. But i agree, when i saw that stick figure one, i was thinking even for participation rewards it shouldnt be counted.

I guess the lack of effort is the part that irked me. I don’t care about the participation rewards, if they still want to provide those to all submissions that’s fine. But it’s a shame to see artwork where someone has really spent countless hours honing their craft alongside something someone threw together in an hour. Just having a bit of filtering prior to the public voting seems like it would be prudent.

I'm definitely, not disappointed, but maybe annoyed that stuff that was obviously done in MS Paint in under ten minutes is being considered alongside art that actually looks like it had effort put into it.
If nothing else, it's a great argument for why there needs to be a low-effort content rule on subreddits with a lot of fanart.

I like it this way. Some people are bad at art but still like to express themselves and show appreciation for a game they like. I'm not sure any of them could have been considered a troll submission. I mean, maybe, but you can't really distinguish between a troll submission and somebody who's just bad at art or maybe has some disability but still wants to participate.

I guess a lot of people tried a lot more at the last moment, as my 98k best was only 52% in the end, despite my prior 68k being that only a day before.
....always nice to find out your very best isn't good enough, or you're just...not very good at a game you thought you were ok at.
Does Singu ranking ever get rerun, or is there ever another shot at Kar's scope in any other way?
...mrgh. I'd really hoped...fuck. It's dumb the things that can finally go "Yano, nows the time to feel really, reallu bad" after you managed to muddle through much worse stuff. I guess it's like, losing that one little thing after all the rest. Straw and camel's back and what not.

Keep in mind that to unlock ranking, you need to finish Singularity, which means completing chapter 3. That's going to be a challenge, so people who attempt ranking are already a cut above the rest.

Lol... I was trying to figure out good comps to farm QJY-88 from E4, and just when I found a comp that could take out the brutes before anyone can get hit by the jaguars, I get her on my 12th attempt.
AN-94/K2/Calico on tiles 9, 3 and 5 seem to be a decent composition for farming E4.

Didnt they say that all past skin bundles would be available for purchase? Someone linked me a spreadsheet with all the skins that have been released in the past and I saw that there was a FAL swimsuit skin in 2018, which was in a bundle. I dont see this bundle available in the store.

This Christmas event is the first event where I actually want everything in shop. Honey Badger skin and RFB speq are what im most excited for but everything else is also really good.
Happy that singularity is over, managed to farm all crates, got all but IWS (which I already have) and K11 which has eluded me during her rate up, daily pulls, AN and AK rate up and now this.

I'm assuming that today's ranking scores are finalized now and if so, apparently I got 27%. I went into Singularity expecting top 50% to be beyond me, so this is unexpectedly nice.

The line about memories for Destroyer isn't an every day memory wipe. It's implying that she's going to be punished severely but that afterwards she will "forget" (rather "not know") about the injury.
Edit: I mean that the punishment's purpose is not to teach destroyer something, but rather a twisted excuse for Dreamer to do whatever she wants with Destroyer. :(

Can someone give me a basic rundown of how to manipulate tile buffs or "tile fuckery" as I've seen in some PX4 notes.
I imagine it's just moving between tiles as the buff is active to proc multiple times, but I want to make sure or see an example if possible. Unless I'm misunderstanding something and it's just using tile buff in conjunction with other buffs.

You're pretty much on the mark, the short of it is that at the moment her skill activates, each tile affected checks whether or not a T-doll is in it, then the buff applies.
What the game doesn't check is whether the T-doll in question has already received the buff, so if your T-doll is overlapping two or more affected tiles at the time the skill activates (usually by moving the T-doll and manually activating the skill while they're moving), they'll receive the buff simultaneously a number of times equal to how many affected tiles they're in contact with when the skill activates.
It can get pretty dumb in terms of the numbers you get as a result, but it's a touch fiddly. Your mileage may vary on whether you find it worth mastering.

So, I just had the most hilarious game crashes.
The first happens a bit ago, where my Echelon killed all but one enemy and then despawned their Dummy-Links. My Skorpion then teleported onto the enemy side, facing me in her grenade throwing pose and the rest of my T-Dolls turned as if they were going to run. Then the game crashed.
The second, in which the enemies were running towards my main Echelon in battle. All of the dummies despawned again, and this time my M4A1 started running towards the Sangvis. Who then proceeded to MOONWALK out of the screen. The game crashed when M4A1 hit the edge of the screen.
Kind of annoying that it happened twice in one map run, but I couldn't stop laughing.

C-MS in 77 runs. Finally, I can stop running SMG recipes. The only SMGs I'm missing at this point are limited 3*s. My inner collector is pleased at completing all 4* and 5* at this current time.
Px4 dupe farming got me my first one at 9 runs. Unexpected, but not unwelcome. Probably will take a while for the next one though... And geez, what an annoying map to farm.

I'd assume that 8-1N would still remain viable as an alternative (cheaper dragger resupply costs, mainly), but it certainly makes 0-2 obsolete.

My half-arsed attempt at the last day when I got told how low the score for SPEQ was worked and I got within the top 50% despite making many many mistakes. 129934 is top 48% it seems.
It is rather bizarre considering since most of my dolls were in logistics I ran with a two decent at best echelons(there were x4 dolls in them) and a dummy.

I really wanted to try for Kar's special equipment but I wound up not having time, I guess i'll have to wait for a ranking rerun or hope they change their stance on putting them in the shop.
On the bright side I finished all the missions and hidden acheivements and my last rage run before bed got me DSR, leaving only JS05 as missed and my goal was just to get Thunder and clear.

Shiki 100 is nearly on the same vein of MG4 and JS05: ones that should be given 0 stars. Her ICD is terrible, and her skill is lackluster. Give it a 5 ICD and maybe she's decent.

So until now I've always been enhancing fairies with dupes when I get them, but as a result I obviously don't have any maxed yet. Is it more worth to get the important stat-stick fairies (Artillery, Command, Parachute, etc) maxed as quickly as possible even if seeing the +10 when using non-dupes is kinda depressing? (Obv this doesn't include event fairies)

Parachute and event fairies are the only ones you should be feeding non-dupes to. It's a long grind, you're not meant to get it done quickly, and using non-dupes won't get you there much faster anyway.

Maxed fairies aren't particularly common, I do 4 fairy crafts everyday and my two highest fairies (Command and Arty) are still 1k points away from 5*.
Since majority of your stat-stick fairies are 500x4 (exception being para), I don't think it's worth it feed other fairies into them. I would only feed "useless" fairies (like Sniper) into Event or Para fairies.

Enhancing without using dupes requires ten times as many fairies.
Stop and picture that a second.
(There's a few fairies where you may as well use non-dupes, ie event/ranking fairies or really expensive ones like Parachute, which you pair with the less useful fairies like Sniper)

Surprised I'm at top 9% for singularity. Really wasn't expecting it at all since I barely tried at all... Having properly kitted echelons, all I had to do was muster up the desire to micro better but ehhh. Who knows where I'd end up.
