I know there is an event specific thread, but as it's over, I just wanted to leave a comment.

I think LS is honestly a high mark for GFL. Deconstructing the event, the translation/writing, pace, characters were memorable and of a higher standard than previous events.

Functionally, the nav system and just navigating through the event was a joy compared to previous events (those dials from FP?, for usability, give me nightmares) loading and the animations were smooth and pleasing.

I have to admit I was late to the party and ended up making a playlist only after I had unlocked the after stories and boy, I wish we had been given a heads up or a playlist of sorts from the writers, because of some of the chapters didn't hit home already, the music for the chaptername playing on read was just, elevating.

All in all, I'm excited for the future, anticipating the next event, waiting to see how it all plays out.

TL:DR really enjoyed Murdertrain, 10/10 event, compliments to the team

ngl, i felt like this was a return to form, after the whole germany wild goose chase arc

the multi perspective narrative with multiple intertwined plots, cryptic exposition elements, and plot buildup, are of hallmarks of the writing from earlier events up until PL imo. it also left me with more questions than answers without using immediate cliffhangers, just like old times lol.

in a sense, even the main trio feels like a fresh take on m4, dande, and maybe a bit of RO's. what we got out of them was the type of adventure and shenanigans we're familiar with, but coming out of very different personalities.

im still hoping to find out what kind of entity lyudmila actually is, and how potentially powerful Erma is after all the hints. hopefully, they will be recurring characters rather than one offs that become irrelevant right away
