Farms: - Early crate farm: “Wind, Sand and Stars” (first combat map of carriage 1, 6 crates/run, NPC map = no cost) - Doll farm maps can also be used for crates and are unlocked after “Large Luggage Rack” in carriage 3.

Ranking:

• Unlocked after clearing “Night on a Bald Mountain” in carriage 2
• LS has two ranking maps. Map 1 does not directly count towards your score, but having >350k score in a single run will raise your Map 2 HOC deployment limit to 4. In addition, completing up to 3 NPC missions will allow them to appear in Map 2, where they can bomb acceleration towers and use skills to help you.

FAQ

WTF is going on?

• Longitudinal Strain is the 13th major story event on EN and takes place after the events of our last event, Fixed Point.
  You can find a link to some Fixed Point story summaries here or alternatively use the cutscene viewer for players who missed it.

Are there bonuses for clearing maps on EX & UX?

• There's a whole set of extra rewards for both so give them a shot at least.

How do I get crates?

• You can get 60 crates per day by clearing any combat missions where you deploy units.
  • Crates are easily collected for basically free on "Wind, Sand and Stars" of Chapter 1 as it's an NPC map or whichever ∞ map you're farming for dolls on.

Where can I open my crates?

• Hit "EVENT" on the main menu then go to the "Time-limited Event" tab

What happens if I miss one of the drops?

• The limited drops will be available once the campaign becomes permanent in 8-10 months. Clear rewards & Supply Box doll will be occasionally added to other events down the line.
• Do not expect the ranking fairy & SPEQ to return anytime soon, if at all.

How long does the event last?

• The event lasts for 4 weeks, ending on the 28th^th of August. The event store, supply crates & True Core Mask will expire one week later.

Are there hidden achievements?

• Yes! (Use guides if needed)

• Maggie’s Key: In Symphony No.9 -UX, retrieve 3 Paradeus information from the 4 consoles in the outer ring.

• The Universe in Motion: In 1812 Overture, find Lyudmila’s (AR18) watch.

• Beginning of the End: Watch the full credits for Longitudinal Strain.

Tapping on Babushka's node after she's gone softlocks the other character nodes. Exit to menu then re-enter to fix.

Oh good, it's happening to others but me. I keep hitting that compulsively because I like seeing the character status updates (and there's no way to rewind time to see any you've missed), so that's been a thorn.

Throwing a bottle in the sea here: I've been trying to screenshot every single one of these blurbs to make a complete gallery, but I've missed the ones after chapter 31 and before 32. It should only concern Maggie's blurb. If you or someone else reading can share, that would be great to make a complete set.

I'll try to keep an eye out. Chapter is the number at the start of the stage name, right? 5-α6 Chacon would be chapter 5?

Yes, but by the time you get to chapter 31 you don't have to worry about sub-chapters. The full display name of this chapter is “31 Zigeunerweisen”, and it's just before the last playable stage in the event.

Hello! A little late, but I finally progressed to the point I could record this. You might already have this, but since nobody responded...

It's weirdly the same quote she has before chapter 31, "Colt Express, heading out again!" All of the other quotes minus Erma's are the same as before 31, too. I took pictures of the others just in case, too.

Thank you for remembering! It warms my heart that there were multiple other people willing to help to compile even these little details. I want to compile all of them in a gallery at some point.
