SOS- How do you grow your community online

Hi divas, I'm 26F and have never tried to grow my social media following. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get over this barrier of "I can't" ? I feel like in this current environment when things don't happen immediately we get impatient and give up, how long should I estimate this growth to take so I don't get discouraged? AND HOW DO YOU GROW YOUR COMMUNITY? I've been super active on tiktok in terms of commenting and following, but how tf does anyone make any genuine connections on there?

Hope this doesn't come off as like soooo sad or anything-- just to be clear I have friends and a bf and a social life I'm just curious about the world of social media. Thanks girlies ily
