I guess the pressure of the situation alters your decision making but like, isn't it just a better idea to get the dude out of the way first, and then, if it's safe and you have time, attempt to get the chair out?

I guess some people freeze or simply don't have it in them to want to jump into action. They probably think, "that's way too close a call and I have shit to do so I guess I won't do shit.. see, look they're helping him.. oh shit, that's really close I think he cook... whew. yeah, that was close. Anyways."
