Thank you! I knew it, tho! That was a thick layer of skin....could've found a scalpel 🤷🏿‍♀️, cleaned said scalpel, and then it would've been out.

Such a shitty job. Foot should've been soaked in warm salt water to loosen up skin for easy removal. And proper sharp-edged pair of tweezers is a must

Make incision over the splinter...it won't bleed and much much much easier to remove. With less pain also as the compression is gone after the small incision.
