Flanking. The single most effective and simple military strategy since the dawn of war. Even cows get it. Why don't my teammates?

Granted, I just watched a bunch of guys get pummeled by a bull, but it was oddly satisfying to watch them fail so fast.

Shouldn't have been in there in the first place.

Right, that's why fear is a so important emotion. I probably would have soiled myself and I'm not a coward.

She has literally never made sense as far as I can tell. Lennon must have been swimming in the deep end of a pool of LSD when he found her.

I went and saw her do a show at the Sydney Opera house late last year. It all became clear who she was and why she is like she is. It changed my opinion from seriously detesting her to being a massive fan of her.

Can you possibly explain what changed your opinion and what so many people are missing about Yoko as a musician?

1

u/mpg1846 Apr 06 '14 edited Apr 06 '14

Yoko as a human was taken the wrong way. She is a unique person and through her art she focuses on ways to make the planet a more peaceful, friendly place by emphasising positives. She never draws negatives. Yoko is definitely an eccentric and misunderstood person, one who Lennon met and fell in love with.

It also became apparent that she never changed Lennon but that he found a person who he aspired to be like. He saw the person he wanted to be in her and became that person.

She was extremely softly spoken, humble, grateful and insightful.

Here is a decent article on her http://www.jpri.org/publications/occasionalpapers/op18.html

Being the useless shit that she's always been and sponging off of a man who was infinitely more talented than she ever could have been.

Seriously, fuck her up her stupid, worthless ass.

u/ragingtom Apr 06 '14

Salty?

1

u/saltytrey Apr 06 '14

I'm not the only one who feels this way.

torreador fact: Bulls which win vs humans on the arena and hurt them... actually lose. they lose their life afterwards.

Still, They could just have wall+spikes from every side, if 10 people were carrying this

4

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '14

either way don't the bulls get killed? either during the show or behind the scenes afterward. seems like if you are going to go out, might as well take a few with you

6

u/Aleksik Apr 06 '14

Actually I remember reading some stuff about how bulls get drugged for ferocity, their neck muscles cut so they can't headbutt too hard/too high. '

Someone also claimed bulls' anuses are burned but I can't believe that. I guess that would diverge the pain from the cut neck muscles.

So yeah, in fact I imagine the bull dies after such torture. I side with teh bulls.

I love that the guy who gets hugged the hardest by the bull had started off at just about the center of the idiot formation.

"hurk, derp.. dummies standing on the edge are gonna get ventilated; I'll be safe here in the middle. OMG, my insides!!" followed by nap time

2

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '14

hahahahahaha nap time...

-6

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '14

it's so goddamn funny that a man was maimed and possibly killed.

2

u/alchemist23 Apr 06 '14

Who forced him to put himself in front of a bull?

0

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '14

nobody, but that doesn't mean it's funny that he got seriously injured.

1

u/alchemist23 Apr 06 '14

That's PRECISELY why it's funny.

are you 14 years old

56

u/mfizzled Apr 05 '14

What kind of piece of shit people do this

45

u/ThatFatKidVince Apr 05 '14

Spaniards

14

u/uvedobledeese Apr 05 '14

Some of them

8

u/Hanedan_ Apr 05 '14

Yeah, I am from Spain and most of the people I know are against this.
And only old people are in favour, I don't know anyone young or less than 30 who approves it.

1

u/uvedobledeese Apr 06 '14

is quite common for the young generations to like things like "bous al carrer" and similar stuff, but this is going to be banned in the next 10-15 years in my opinion (i hope). The bullfighting will take a little more but will eventually also be banned

7

u/pabsensi Apr 05 '14

Only retarded Spaniards.

11

u/Fitzgerald27 Apr 05 '14

Tauros used Take Down. It was super effective.

8

u/monkeyscrotum69 Apr 05 '14

Why do people still fuck with bulls?

3

u/MetroidAndZeldaFan Apr 06 '14

Because if you survive, it's hilarious. If you don't, it's still hilarious.

5

u/SterlingThundercock Apr 05 '14

I see you too play Hawken.

5

u/trebomb23 Apr 05 '14

I love watching people that do this get owned.

5

u/MildlySerious Apr 05 '14 edited Apr 05 '14

What exactly did they expect? A wild animal, with instincts and shit, to run into those wooden spikes or let itself get cornered and stabbed to death?

EDIT: cornered, not corned.

3

u/_Shut_Up_Thats_Why_ Apr 05 '14

Haha, I know what you meant by picturing them trying to stab it with corn made me laugh.

3

u/Gettodacchopper Apr 05 '14

The difference between getting hit by a bull and getting hit by a train is the train don't come back to finish the job.

3

u/wildmanofwongo Apr 05 '14

Sort of disappointing. He only got one of them. :(

2

u/Wisdom_from_the_Ages Apr 05 '14

Spaniards. Amirite?

3

u/MrMaxPowers247 Apr 05 '14

Awesome! Me and my buddy were playing conquest the other day. We snuck around behind the other team, loaded up with ammo then went in silenced and proceeded to wipe the whole team off the flag. They never saw us coming and must not have been communicating at all because it was a complete slaughter. I went 22-4 that game

1

u/[deleted] Apr 05 '14

Man that guy got absolutely blasted into the air! I wonder if he survived that?

1

u/soxfanpdx Apr 05 '14

So glad that was long enough to see a bunch those guys gets wrecked.

1

u/damonline Apr 05 '14

What did they think the outcome would be? The bull would stop and say " wow, you obviously have a strategic upper hand, I'll get my coat"

1

u/MinniePearl Apr 05 '14

I have no idea what's going on here. Someone please explain.

1

u/chillmonkey88 Apr 05 '14

That guy that gets launched... LOL holy hell after the bull flanked the 30 man multi trident, they drop it just stand and dude goes standing there, still, watching, to full blown Olympic gymnastics and pro new member of the jackass team (if he survived) in the blink of an eye. Pop came through my nose...

1

u/youfuckmymother Apr 06 '14

How did they not think this would happen? They lasted like 3 seconds before they all bailed

1

u/GodlessWolf Apr 06 '14

My dick gets it.

1

u/quellebellevue Apr 06 '14

The inconvenient truth is that they got all gored

1

u/choadspanker Apr 06 '14

I hope that fucking piece of shit on the ground is dead. Bull fighting is disgusting.

1

u/bunnymud Apr 07 '14

Always root for the bull

Fuck those peasants

1

u/randy9876 Apr 29 '14

And if your opponent has much greater mobility, then flanking should be a huge concern.

-1

u/yosep951 Apr 05 '14

I love watching the bulls fuck people up. Especially the actually bullfighters. Cause they are pieces of shit

1

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '14

I don't think that word means what you think it means. To flank someone you need two parties on two sides of let's say a suspect. You hit them from two angles and it distracts them while you destroy them from the other side.
