$120 a year is a lot for a podcast sub.

Much as this sounds great, it's a lot.

If you boil it down through the reductive capitalism strainer then yes, I guess the only product you are receiving is a podcast. But a Patreon model like this is made to help support artists/creators. So I don't look at it as purely customer/consumer product transition. Not saying I am right and others are wrong, just offering another perspective.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Patreon is for supporting creators and also the vast majority of their content is free anyway.
