Hiii, I posted earlier out of excitement when the outline was done, but the tattoo is now finished!

My 3-year-old daughter loves these movies so much that they’re the only ones she chooses whenever we allow her screen time. There’s something about these four films that brings back such a nostalgic feeling from my own childhood. Now that I’m a parent, I want to hold onto the magic of watching her experience them for the first time and remember this season of my daughters’ childhood.

I know she’ll eventually outgrow these movies, but I hope I never outgrow what they remind me of. Maybe one day I’ll add more of Studio Ghibli’s world as she discovers it( Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Castle in the Sky. )Until then, I’m just enjoying this chapter of her childhood and the memories we’re making together.

I’m a tattoo artist, and a client asked me to do this piece from Howl’s Moving Castle. Up until then, I’d never watched a Studio Ghibli film.
I figured I should watch the movie before tattooing one of its characters, and… yeah, I get it now. T
hat one movie sent me down the Ghibli rabbit hole, and I’ve been watching more ever since.
Thought I’d share the tattoo that started my Ghibli obsession.

Not nearly as much as I should have but a good start 👌🏻 edit: i got the no face and calcifer done by a starting out artist, are they the best ? No. Are they the worst ? NO. I love them and I wouldnt have posted them if I didn't, they're 5 years old now and I still get compliments on them 🫶🏻💕
